So at long last the Toadie/Steph relationship blows up in their faces. It's something of a relief-far less-suited couples have been married off in the past.Carla Bonner continues to excel as a Steph who seems uncomfortable in a physical relationship with someone she sees as a friend...exactly the way she's been playing the part since day one in fact.Even the little touches work, such as Karl getting Zeke to turn off the video camera, although the final scene is rather perfunctory. There also seems to be some confusion over the characters attending the wedding-there's no sign of Steve, who was seen leaving with the others last episode, and Lou turns up at the reception but is nowhere to be seen at the service.
Elsewhere, Oliver and Mia continue their relationship(if that's what you can call it)only to have it all blown open rather more quickly than they hoped.Oliver's desperate "Chloe threw up on my shirt" when Carmella and Marco find him half-naked is a great gag.Plus, Frazer and Rosie back to their adorable best as she stops him making a big announcement about her pregnancy and a nice subtle reaction from Marco when Carmella mentions them starting a family.
