They say that they've learned a lesson
silverton-3795918 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
A few times these two guys say they've learned something, but they're missing the same lesson time after time: I think the lesson they need to learn (or at least Mark needs to learn) is that unless you're doing a build for someone who asks for it, leave all that CNC cut spiderweb crap off. Mark says that he wants the GG signature on everything, but he sends everything out with 20 signatures and his builds look like graffitti taggers have struck at night while everyone was asleep. The guy in the last episode who lowballed them on the Harley was obviously turned off by all the spiderman crap and the puke green color. If that bike had been painted pearl black and had all the spider web left off, the boys could have asked $40k and the buyer would have broken his thumb getting to his money.

Anyway, though, there's a '48 Roadmaster that has already been brought to about 70% by a master builder Bob Anziano, who died before completing it. It was seen in the background in Season 1, looking very interesting, but never being mentioned. The build was completed and was very good, but again, Mark stuck his "signatures" all over it. The Buick turned out to be about 90% of what Anziano would have made of it. It was very nice, but some of the GG crap would need to be removed by the new owner and I bet that he did just that.
