Two independent genre stalwarts sent along full details of their latest horror DVDs. Happy Cloud Pictures has the official disc of its latest production, Splatter Movie: The Director’S Cut, shipping in April, while Tempe Video releases Platoon Of The Dead June 16.
Splatter Movie, directed by and starring Amy Lynn Best and written by Mike Watt, also features Evil Dead FX artist Tom Sullivan, Fango Radio’s Debbie Rochon, Sofiya Smirnova and Elske McCain in a “documentary” on the making of the slasher opus Tesseract—whose makers are stalked and slain by a murderer dressed as their film’s villain. Special features include:
• The Splatter Movie Companion 25-minute movie • Deleted scenes • Outtakes • Trailers
