Television sure enjoys spreading the wealth!
Many TV characters appear financially well-off, even adjusting for the fictional deflation of settings like Monica's huge NYC apartment on Friends.
However, supremely rich TV characters are a bit thinner on the ground and usually painted as villains.

These moneybag characters often deserve their despicable reps, but some are so captivating that we'll forgive them for almost anything.
The intrepid TV Fanatic team came up with a dozen excellent examples of wealthy characters who fit this bill and found that they fall into four main categories.
"Life of the Party"
These characters use their hard-won (or hard-inherited) fortunes to enjoy their lives unapologetically.
They typically display a sharp sense of humor and affect a jaded worldview that often masks a deeply sensitive (and therefore vulnerable) nature.

Some movies and actors stick with you through the decades, leaving you with random moments of nostalgia that can occur at any time.
While the '80s have different levels of fame, perhaps the greatest gift it gave was The Brat Pack, a group of young, up-and-coming actors often seen on film together and occasionally off-screen.
What actors belong to the group varies by who you ask. Some people consider the members to be those listed by reporter David Blum in his now infamous 1985 article in the New York Magazine.
But 1980s Brat Pack fans have their own list of eight core members we grew up watching act together. It started with The Breakfast Club and then St. Elmo's Fire.
Now, they're on some of our favorite movies and series. But regardless of what they do, they're often still associated with belonging to the Brat Pack.

Jason Aldean Ís One Of The Biggest Names In Music Today
You can’t talk about the biggest names in country music right now without adding Jason Aldean to that conversation. He is one of the first people many listeners think of when they think of industry leaders putting out the best music. Hardy’s mama ain’t home, which means it’s time to party. The country musician served up “Gin and Juice” with a twist on his newly-released cover of the Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre classic. The cover fuses country-rock with California rap as Hardy lays out the itinerary for his night with the boys: roll down the street smoking indo, shoot some deer with the bullets filling up his pockets, and throw back some G&Js.

There may be no more natural pairing for CMT Crossroads than Nickelback and Hardy. Both appeal to country and rock audiences, both worked with producer Joey Moi, and both have a song called “Rockstar.” On April 6, they’ll mash up their respective styles — and their “Rockstar” singles — for an episode of CMT’s crossover performance series.
Recorded in Nashville earlier in March, the episode features Hardy and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger trading verses on Nickelback’s “Save Me” and “Animals,” and Hardy hits “Truck Bed” and “Give Heaven Some Hell.

Hardy will spend the early summer months on the road as the Nashville country rocker has announced his “Quit!!” Tour.
In addition to mapping out the trek’s 15 dates, Hardy has also shared a new spoken word track also called “Quit!!” that harkens back to his 2022 ACM Honors speech, during which he related an incident where someone put a note that read “Quit!!” in the then-fledgling singer’s tip jar.
“Thank you for inspiring me to be great,” Hardy added in a statement to whoever left him that note. “I...

Neil Young and Crazy Horse’s lost 2001 LP Toast is finally arriving July 8, and you can check out the track “Standing In The Light of Love” right now.
Young started Toast at Toast Studios in San Francisco in early 2001 shortly before he headed down to South America with Crazy Horse for a tour. “The back door opened onto an alley,” Young wrote last year on the Neil Young Archives. “It was so stuffy in there that we left the door open until one day we saw rats coming in and out.

It’s here! ABC’s latest promise to scare, seduce and confuse - 666 Park Avenue. The show starts off at the symphony where a gentleman feverishly plays his violin while the imposing Gavin Doran (Terry O’Quinn) gazes intently on the musician’s fingers as they bleed. Bleed. Soon homeboy high tails out of the show with his bandaged phalanges to get home and pack. Underwear? Check. Passport? Check. Destroy haunted violin? Donezo. This violinist is ready to get the hell out 666 Park Avenue. But he finds his departure cut short when he receives a mysterious phone call. You see, he made a deal with the devil. He bet a fiddle of gold against his soul that he thinks he’s better than you. He thought he’d escape only to find himself vacuumed into the mail slot at 999 Park Avenue. Yup, 999. It’s called 666 because that’s what happens...

The premiere of Madonna's video for "Give Me All Your Luvin,'" the first single off her new album M.D.N.A., is today, children. It's bound to be a little over-the-top and nutty, like the deranged song itself, and I assume it's not going to live up to the greatest stuff in Madonna's catalog. Then I remember: What does live up to the best stuff in Madonna's catalog? Turns out, not much. Madonna's repertoire is a varied and thundering collection of self-empowering pop ditties, soulful ballads, and kooky little anomalies. And they're mostly all irreplaceable. In the tradition of Rolling Stone, who listed their 100 Greatest Beatles Songs a couple years ago, let's reinspect Madonna's complete history and name her definitive 100 jams. Ready? Start disagreeing Now.

The Arizona Underground Film Festival wrapped up its 3rd and biggest year ever back on Sept. 25. Auff gave out awards to both shorts and features in the categories of Best Narrative, Best Horror, Best Documentary. Plus, they gave out awards such as Best Exploitation, Best Experimental, Audience Award, Director’s Choice and more.
Best Experimental went to a film directed nearly 30 years ago that’s just being seen now. That film is Window on Your Present by Cinqué Lee, brother of Spike Lee.
Other big winners are Corey Adams and Alex Craig’s skateboard fantasy Machotaildrop for Best Narrative Feature; Aurelio Voltaire‘s short film Demiurge Emesis for Best Animation...

Tucson and Phoenix: Prepare to be rocked, shocked and defiled. Blasting its way into its third — and biggest — year on Sept. 18-25, the Arizona Underground Film Festival is a cacophonous concoction of angry transsexuals, bumbling hit men, slacker superheroes, living dolls, aliens, dead hookers, adventure-seeking blondes and other crazies.
This year the fest is screening 30 feature films, some of which are making their U.S. and even world debuts. The opening night film is the U.S. premiere of the German hit man comedy Snowman’s Land, directed by Tomasz Thomson, while closing the fest is the controversial and violent A Serbian Film by Srdjan Spasojevic, which you have to be over-18 to get into.
Don’t worry, there’s plenty of homebrewed films as well, such as Dead Hooker in a Trunk by Jen Soska & Sylvia Soska; Nude Nuns With Big Guns by Joseph Guzman; 1,001 Ways to Enjoy the...
