Quotes

  • Sheriff Rick Cologne : Tommy Jarvis! I'm placing you under arrest for multiple homicides. Now put your hands in the air, and don't make me ask you again.

    Tommy Jarvis : You bastard.

Dr. Diana Hill : What makes think it was Tommy?

Sheriff Rick Cologne : Because he was the last one to see the victims alive. Just like your son.

    Tommy Jarvis : He's lying.

Dr. Diana Hill : You never told me any of this.

Sheriff Rick Cologne : That was part of an ongoing investigation, and I couldn't share the details.

Dr. Diana Hill : You had evidence that my son was murdered, and you couldn't share the details?

  • Dr. Diana Hill : Where are Axel and Deni?

    Tommy Jarvis : They're dead.

Dr. Diana Hill : What? How?

Tommy Jarvis : We were attacked.

Dr. Diana Hill : By what?

    Tommy Jarvis : Jason Voorhees...

Dr. Diana Hill : That's... He's not real.

Tommy Jarvis : So I've been told. The thing is, he is real. I know because he killed my mother, my friends, others. And now this is all my fault.

Dr. Diana Hill : What does that mean?

Tommy Jarvis : I killed Jason when I was twelve years old. Only he didn't die. He took up this space inside my head until I couldn't take it anymore. So I dug up his grave and I destroyed his corpse, but... I fucked it all up. He used me to come back. And this town has been paying the price ever since.

Dr. Diana Hill : This is crazy.

Tommy Jarvis : I know. I know how it sounds. Look, I was at the crime scene the night Mark went missing. I know it was Jason Voorhees.

Dr. Diana Hill : I'm getting the Sheriff.

Tommy Jarvis : You do that and I promise you, you'll never get the answers that you're looking for Mark.

Dr. Diana Hill : Oh, yeah? What do you know?

Tommy Jarvis : This town has a past that no one wants to talk about. Another missing person is a lot easier to sweep under the rug than a bunch of unexplained murders.

Dr. Diana Hill : Are you saying that my son was murdered? And you knew all this time? Why are you just telling me now?

Tommy Jarvis : Without proof, you would have never believed me. What happened to that hiker could be the key. That's why I need to talk to him.

  • Sheriff Rick Cologne : You see that sign? It says to stay the fuck out! Why is that so hard for you to understand?

Tommy Jarvis : Yeah, I'm just leaving!

Sheriff Rick Cologne : I know what you're doing up here, I know what you're doing. Living in the past. Stirring up ghosts. There's nothing up here for you, Jarvis! It's time to move on.

Tommy Jarvis : Is that what you told your deputy's wife?

Sheriff Rick Cologne : You son of a bitch.

Tommy Jarvis : He's still out here, Sheriff. And you know it.

Sheriff Rick Cologne : Then tell me something wise guy. How come every time I come up here, the only thing I find, is you?

Tommy Jarvis : If you think I'm up to something, Sheriff, then why don't you go check out the camp for yourself? Unless, you know, you're too much of a chicken shit.

  • Tommy Jarvis : What did I tell you about coming out here alone?

Young Tommy Jarvis : I just wanted to go fishing.

Tommy Jarvis : Okay, but... It's not safe for you to be out there by yourself.

Young Tommy Jarvis : I know. I'm sorry.

Tommy Jarvis : Okay. Just, oh... You know, let me know next time. Okay?

Young Tommy Jarvis : Okay. I promise.

    Tommy Jarvis : Okay, good.

Young Tommy Jarvis : Is it because of Jason?

Tommy Jarvis : Where did you hear that name?

Young Tommy Jarvis : The kids at school. They said he drowned in the lake, and that he's still down there... waiting.

Tommy Jarvis : Waiting for what?

Young Tommy Jarvis : To pull me down with him.

  • Tommy Jarvis : Are you okay?

Dr. Diana Hill : No, not really.

Tommy Jarvis : Look, I've been wanting to tell you, it's a shame what happened to your son. He seemed like a real good kid. I'm sorry.

Dr. Diana Hill : Yeah, that's what everyone keeps telling me. Just one thing they don't realize.

    Tommy Jarvis : What's that?

Dr. Diana Hill : My son is still alive. I know. It sounded crazy to me too the first time I heard it. I know my son is dead, but he didn't die, he went missing. He is still out there somewhere and until they find him, the state won't recognize he's dead for another seven years. I-I don't know what to do with that.

  • Tommy Jarvis : Look, you went into his territory. You drew him out. And now, he's coming for you.

    Kyle McLeod : I didn't mean to.

Tommy Jarvis : And now people are dead. And there will be more if we don't do something about it.

Kyle McLeod : Then what? I go show you where that head thing is, and then what? How does that solve anything?

Tommy Jarvis : Look, I think you already know some of the story. Jason drowned in the lake and somewhere came back the night his mother was killed. Her head is the only thing he left of her. If we destroy it, it'll sever the connection that keeps him coming back to this world. And we can finally send him to hell. Where he belongs.

  • Kyle McLeod : Guys, we need to get out of here.

Tommy Jarvis : No, we have to make it back to the ambulance. I have a spare battery in the back.

Kyle McLeod : Yeah, and how do you expect to replace a battery with that psycho walking around?

Sheriff Rick Cologne : Wait a second, wait a second. I have a plan. I'm gonna create a distraction. And when I do, you guys grab that battery and run like hell.

Tommy Jarvis : Rick, no. You don't know what you're dealing with.

Sheriff Rick Cologne : [armed with his two guns]  I think it's the other way around.
