It’s been seven years since he found life-changing fame with One Direction on The X Factor U.K., and on Saturday, Harry Styles returned to the same stage to perform for the first time without his former bandmates.
Looking dapper in a purple suit, the 23-year-old heartthrob made a special appearance on the British singing competition series to perform his latest track, “Kiwi.”
Styles previously appeared on the show with his bandmates to perform their hit, “Story of My Life,” while promoting their album Midnight Memories in 2013. They then sung on the show in December 2015, their last appearance before their hiatus.
With the group currently focused on solo music, Styles is promoting his self-titled debut album, with tour dates in New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Singapore before the year’s end.

Food fight! Harry Styles had some old-fashioned kid fun in his new “Kiwi” music video – in a floral suit, of course.
The former boy bander chose to illustrate his high-energy rock song with a group of fighting school kids, who piled up a mound of baked goods for the ultimate food fight.
One little girl walks in wearing a turquoise blue suit with green flowers all over it, instigating the brawl. As the icing and cake go flying, Styles (clad in the same suit) pokes his head through the door.
And he’s not alone. Styles is carrying a yellow Labrador puppy, surveying the situation before letting the dog on the ground and unleashing a litter of puppies to eat up the mess.

First Food Fight!, The Emoji Movie, and now this? A goddamn Animal Crackers movie? What depths will Hollywood sink to? What's next, Cheez-its the movie, starring Ryan Reynolds as a cracker who has to go on a journey of -- actually that doesn't sound like a bad idea. Or maybe I'm just hungry. It’s messy, it’s unpredictable, and it’s one of the surest ways to have fun and get in trouble all at the same time. The food fight is a rather hilarious way to vent your anger at someone without actually having to take the trouble of causing them any serious bodily injury. Some of us might be old enough to remember when the words “Food fight!” in the cafeteria were punctuated by the sudden emergence of several different food groups being flung through the air to land wherever they may. Some call those the good old days, while others don’t mind

As Power Rangers rides high at the box office, a look at what led to this point...
Lionsgate’s new Power Rangers film, out in cinemas now, is not a film which assumes any prior knowledge of the Power Rangers franchise. But that doesn’t stop it from containing a number of sly nods for long-term fans, and perhaps the slyest of these comes early in the movie, when Kimberly (Naomi Scott) is confronted in the school toilets by her frenemy Amanda. In a heated exchange, Amanda tells her:
“You shouldn’t have sent Tai that picture of me.”
Either this line is an extraordinary coincidence, or its middle words combine, Megazord-style, to form a tip of the hat towards Sentai - or rather, Super Sentai - the Japanese franchise from which the Power Rangers TV show has always taken the bulk (no pun intended) of its action footage.

Thanksgiving is almost here and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than to reminisce about some of our favorite Thanksgiving dinners!
Some were bad, some were good; others were good because they were so bad. All of them cemented themselves in television history as staples for Thanksgiving viewing.
From the awkward to the over-the-top, here are some of our favorite memorable Thanksgiving meals!
1. You Just Got Slapped, How I Met Your Mother On, "Slapsgiving," the countdown was on for Barney to receive one of the five slaps he had earned after losing a bet about whether or not Robin was in a porn movie. Food fight! (Look, we know that pun was super obvious but we're kind of tired and we probably haven't had as much caffeine as we should have so please just let it slide. We promise next time we'll try to be a bit more clever.) So McDonald's unleashed its all-day breakfast menu on Tuesday, much to the delight of people who hate getting up before 10 a.m. but still love Egg McMuffins. Sure, they don't have hash browns in some parts of the country and depending on your area, you had to choose between a McMuffin and a biscuit sandwich. But still! McDonald's finally answered all the prayers and officially launched it's 24-hour breakfast menu. Obviously, people were talking about...

There has been so much non-stop drama since the '4 In 4 Out' night nearly three weeks ago that we were worried the housemates had forgotten how to smile and have a laugh.
So we were surprised that yesterday's Big Brother show - day 42 of the series - saw the house put aside their troubles and intense hatred for each other and actually have some fun.
Last night's highlights were undoubtedly the best of the series so far, and we present the top moments below:
1. Marc gets giddy after Danny is nominated
We don't think we've ever seen Marc this excited. Whether you're Team Marc or Team Danny, there was something amusing about how giddy and childlike he got - running into the house when he learned that Joel nominated Danny.
2. Awkward! Nikki and Marc take a literal U-turn

The mogwais are nearing middle age.
That's right, Steven Spielberg's magnificent horror comedy "Gremlins," about a bunch of cuddly creatures that turn into scaly monsters and overtake a small, Rockwellian town, is turning 30 this summer. And to celebrate, Warner Bros has a bunch of exciting things planned. The first of which has already happened: you can now own the movie digitally, for the first time ever (please, take the time to luxuriate in a wonderful clip from the movie, located below). Later this year, too, we will be getting a deluxe, 30th anniversary Blu-ray, complete with two brand-new featurettes featuring Steven Spielberg, alongside other creative principles (like director Joe Dante) and many members of the cast and crew.
We were lucky enough to chat with Zach Galligan, who played Billy Peltzer, the initial owner of Gizmo, the mogwai that inadvertently breeds the gremlin menace. Galligan has become something of a cult icon himself,...

"Bones" Season 9 doesn't want you to forget that this is a yucky show. That's why "The Repo Man in the Septic Tank" uses that bit of smelly plumbing facility to stow its latest body.
There's also a searing indictment of Cuba and a grudging acceptance of church. See how all of it works in this recap.
Don't fear the repo man
The corpse of the week belongs to an ex-con named Benny. With prison in his past, Benny has gone straight(ish) by taking a job as a repo man. Obviously, someone isn't happy with either Benny's past or present, because the poor fellow ends up drowning in a septic tank.
Yuck. Seriously, this is not a good way to go.
Over time, the investigation figures out that Benny had been in a car accident before ending up in that septic tank. He somehow managed to run a significant distance after the crash,...

Whether it is a life story told over a Dinner with Andre, a rambunctious and unseen pie fight in the War Room of Dr. Strangelove, the marital benefits of a newly opened chocolate shop in a deeply religious French village, food and film have had some wonderful moments together. To celebrate these we have been asked by Just Eat, the place to go for online food delivery, to list our ten favourite, and funniest moments of food on film. These, for your delectation, are below.
There are many films that are a pure celebration of food, but some of the most famous, or infamous, moments come in films that are focused more on a purely unconnected subject matter. As our celebration of food, we prefer to look at some of the funniest.

Fanfiction is an integral part of Star Trek history. Most people will tell you that Kirk and Spock were the first ever 'slash pairing' - for the uninitiated, that's a fan-imagined romance between two characters of the same sex - although others reckon this stuff goes back as far as the Bible.
(We don't recommend dwelling on that last thought for too long, by the way.)
And while the likes of El James haven't done much to improve its unsavoury rep, fanfiction in its place is a fine and admirable creative pursuit, allowing young writers to develop their technique within an established universe and take an active role in the fandoms they love.
A lot of it's also much better written than the soul-destroying novelisations that film studios pay half-rate writers to churn out. We're all for fanfiction at Digital Spy, make no mistake. That being said, there is some very,...

Hey, anything for a good cause, right? Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi helped raise money for charity Monday night at the annual Capital Food Fight event benefiting the DC Central Kitchen in Washington, D.C., and all she had to do was let a total stranger eat some ham off of her beautiful bod. But it cost him. For $1,000, this fine gentleman got to nibble a piece of bérico ham off Lakshmi's collarbone. She tweeted during the event, "God the tension in the room with Tony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern is thick! In DC for capital food fight!!" And Padma continued to tweet photos of what looked to be tasty food that were being served, "Damn I go...

It seems like Padma Lakshmi can practically do anything for a good cause. She just helped raise money for charity at the annual Capital Food Fight that happened in the DC Central Kitchen in Washington. Now, what did she have to do in order to raise such amount of money? Well, she just had to let a total stranger eat ham off her body, of course!
For 00 a gentleman got to nibble on Padma's collarbone and eat a piece of berico ham.
Now, which one do you think tasted better? Well, we bet it's the fact that he nibble on Padma's bod!

Apparently, if you want to eat a piece of ham off Padma Lakshmi's body, the going rate is $1,000.
That number was established Monday night in Washington, D.C., at the Capital Food Fight's event benefiting the charity DC Central Kitchen, where she allowed a stranger who'd donated said amount to nibble a piece of Ibérico ham off her collarbone.
Unfortunately for Padma admirers, we doubt she'll be making a habit of such shenanigans. It is for charity, though. What say you, Padma?
Washington City Paper's Jessica Sidman shot some salacious footage of the incident -- except it's upside-down. If you don't feel like craning your neck, Eater DC has a flipped-up version.

TV personality and American Idol host Ryan Seacrest is also a prolific television producer, but the man who created Keeping Up with the Kardashians is now looking to expand into filmmaking. And it should come as no surprise that his inspiration is reality television. THR reveals Seacrest is teaming up with Paramount Pictures to develop a comedy called Food Fight, loosely based on celebrity chef Jamie Oliver's Emmy-winning Food Revolution. Oliver used the show as a platform to promote better eating habits by traveling to various American small towns and teaching its locals the joy of healthy home cooking. Seacrest was a producer on the series, and is currently spinning its concept into a narrative film in the vein of Paramount hit School of Rock. The comedy would reimagine the good-intentioned English chef as a Los Angeles gourmet food truck owner whose shenanigans force him to do community service...

Guests: Laurie Garrett, Jody Williams
Segments: Bears & Balls – Misery Edition, Eat, Pray to Eat – Laurie Garrett, Channeled Rage
Videos: Thursday, March 24, 2011
Before I get started on the guide, I wanted to share something that happened to me at work yesterday. I have an electronic frame that, along with pictures of my husband and cats, also has some of my favorite Stephen eye candy. I also have my Kfa 2010 button hanging from my cubicle wall. The new sales guy came up to my desk to ask about getting a new stapler (putting my college degree to work there), and said “Oh hey! Stephen Colbert!” I said, “Yes … you know who he is?” He said, “Yeah! My wife and I watch the ‘Daily Show’ every night and love the ‘Colbert’ show. I watched the entire rally, too!” I said, “Really? That’s awesome! I was there, and it was cool!

We open this week with something rarely seen on this show – a crime scene that’s being worked by pretty much everybody in the cast.
And by everybody, I mean everybody. Because even Dewey is there.
Dewey, you may remember, had taken time off to go to Harvard Law School, after he took a bunch of super-strength tanning pills to earn himself a minorities-only scholarship. (Yes, yes, it’s taken me three seasons to get to making Soul Man jokes. But we all knew it had to happen sometime, so it’s happening now. Deal with it, people! And be on the lookout for upcoming “Ponyboy” jokes, which I’m saving for a slow week.)
The truth is that Dewey is now fresh out of rehab. And like they say … you can take the alcohol out of the asshat, but you can’t take the asshat out of the Dewey.

The Vegan Revolution…with Zombies by David Agranoff
Deadite Press
“Presenting Stress Free Food! Animal suffering is a thing of the past. Hipsters can now enjoy bacon without guilt. Thanks to a new miracle drug the cute little pig no longer feels a thing as she is led to the slaughter. The only problem? Once the drug enters the food supply anyone who eats it is infected. From fast food burgers to free-range organic eggs, eating animal products turns people into shambling brain-dead zombies – not even vegetarians are safe!
In Portland, Oregon, vegans, freegans, abolitionists, hardliners and raw fooders have holed up in Food Fight, one of the country’s premier vegan grocery stores at the vegan mini-mall. There they must prepare for their final battle to take back the city from the hordes of roaming undead. Will vegans filet the flesh-eaters or will they become zombie chow?

Directed by: Adam Ross
Cast: Sefton
Running Time: 1 hr 25 mins
Rating: Unrated
Release Date: October 15, 2010 (limited)
Plot: Documents cannabis growers up and down the Emerald Triangle, an area in California famous for marijuana production.
Who’S It For? Teenagers and adults interested in the topic of marijuana legalization. While they’re sober.
Expectations: Most of what I know about the pot growers comes from the news and blog posts. I kind of expected it to be along the lines of Food, Inc or The Cove. I also thought it would be pro-marijuana legalization.
Scorecard (0-10)
Actors:
Sefton as himself: Most of the people who appear in the film are only identified by a title, such as “Business Owner” or “Cannabis Farmer.” Sefton is one of the only people identified by name, and it’s only his first name at that. But I also list him because he’s...

Last night, during Bravo's Top Chef reunion special, the cabler finally took the wraps off of one of television's worst-kept secrets: that next season of Top Chef would be an all-stars edition that would bring back 18 former contestants to battle it out for another chance at the title. Top Chef All-Stars will launch December 1st at 10 pm Et/Pt and will feature the return of Anthony Bourdain as well, as he segues from guest judge to full-on regular judge. (He'll rotate with Food & Wine's Gail Simmons.) As for the contestants, they are some of the ones you would most expect would be in the running: Elia Aboumrad; Stephen Asprinio; Richard Blais; Jennifer Carroll; Tiffany Derry; Tiffani Faison; Carla Hall; Mike Isabella; Jamie Lauren; Dale Levitski; Antonia Lofaso; Spike Mendelsohn; Angelo Sosa; Dale Talde; Casey Thompson; Marcel Vigneron; Fabio Viviani; and Tre Wilcox. Personally, I'm thrilled to see Jennifer Carroll and...

HollywoodNews.com: With summer barbecues just around the corner, I thought it might be fun to take a walk down memory lane and identify the 10 most memorable movie scenes involving food. It’s impossible to include everything—it especially pained me to leave off “To Catch a Thief” (1955, with Grace Kelly’s leg or breast double-entendre) to “Dumb and Dumber” (1994, with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels spicy pepper prank) to “Julie & Julia” (2009, with Meryl Streep’s orgasmic reaction to sole meuniere)—but I think I hit most of the big ones. Let me know your favorite examples in the comments section below!
10. “Sling Blade” (1996)
Iconic scene: Karl (Billy Bob Thornton) famously mumbles, “Mhmm. I like them French fried taters.”
9. “Forrest Gump” (1994)
Iconic scene: Forrest (Tom Hanks) regales strangers with the far-fetched tales of his life, but always comes back to the same aphorism: “Mama always told me...

Toronto -- Canadian indie producer Cineflix Productions is opening a second beachhead to aid its U.S. expansion: British studio-based entertainment programming.
After striking U.S. ratings gold with The History Channel's docuseries "American Pickers," Toronto-based Cineflix is now working to produce entertainment format series in Britain for possible migration to the American market.
The strategy, explained Cineflix CEO of programming Simon Lloyd, is making friends with industry trends.
Lloyd argued U.S. networks remain on the hunt for reality formats that produce big audience spikes and, like "Dancing With The Stars" and "American Idol," first proved themselves in the British market.
"Often the best way to get a show on a U.S. network is to hang on a British network first of all, and try to improve it there. What we're hoping to do is to have hits in Britain, and we're hoping that some of those...

Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs (Blu-ray)Sony Home ENTERTAIMENT2009/Rated PG/ 90 minsNow Available – List Price $39.95With so many animation studios attempting to replicate the winning formula of Pixar it's often a surprise when one of them turns out a feature that's appealing to adults as well as children. A film about food, Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs is one of those rare animated films that tastes good going down, leaving little side effects because it was mixed with all the right ingredients. Like the folks at Pixar, directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller appear to be fans of good animation and great movies in general, employing a variety of familiar film techniques and homages that work. Though their film enjoyed success theatrically as a 3D release, seeing it in good ole two dimensions is still an enjoyable experience because of its simple story with sweet and intriguing characters that inhabit it.

Chicago – Watching the inspired “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs” again on Blu-ray with the wife, the word she kept using to describe it was “creative”. It’s an appropriate word for a very funny comedy with one of the best voice casts in years, an enjoyable visual aesthetic, a heartwarming message that doesn’t come off over-cooked, and a gorgeously transferred Blu-ray release. It’s a great way to start the HD decade.
Blu-Ray Rating: 4.5/5.0
Most non-Pixar animation is disposable, interchangeable, and predictable. For every “Coraline” or “Up,” there are a dozen “Planet 51”s. That’s what’s so great about “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs,” a film that defies all expectations and provides something to like for every member of the family. From my theatrical review:
“Only based on the set-up for Judi & Ron Barret’s beloved children’s book (but fully capturing the spirit of...

Anyone who has tuned in to the USA cable network over the past few years cannot avoid noticing that their focus has been on characters. Whether the eccentric star of Monk or the artist who created the “Hope” Obama design, every level of character has been put in an ad campaign for the network. Now, USA has launched their own gaming site with USA Character Arcade that lets players create their own characters by playing through a varied collection of USA themed flash games, earning points and trophies along the way.
Like most Flash based gaming sites, many of USA Character Arcade’s games are fast pick up and play action and puzzle games. Some are simple reskinned versions of other games like the Where’s Waldo-esque Where’s Bunny? in which a player must find a hidden rabbit throughout various snapshots of NYC.
