In the new opening sequence featuring Indiana Jones as a baby (Neil Boulane) and a toddler (Boutalat), we learn his full name is Henry Walton Jones, Jr. George Lucas full name is George Walton Lucas Jr.
A new bridging segment to add some closure to the first half of the story was shot in Tunisia on August 11, 1997 during production of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999). As all the actors had signed a long term contract to include potential re-shoots, Joseph Bennett and Vic Tablian were available to reprise the roles of T.E. Lawrence and Demetrios. Doubles were substituted for Corey Carrier, Margaret Tyzack and Tony Robinson. The double for Carrier gets to speak a line in his own voice.
The first half of My First Adventure is taken from the original pilot Young Indiana Jones and the Curse of the Jackal (1992) which was shot in June and July of 1991. The second half, Tangiers, 1908 is an unaired adventure shot in February and May of 1996. Corey Carrier is noticeably older during this second story, as well as the new footage used in the prologue.
