While chained to the parking garage, Monk tells Councilwoman Hill that he had attended the City Council vote that had condemned the garage. Four days later, when he is in City Hall for the re-vote with Natalie, neither of them know where City Council meetings are held.
After Monk puts up the flier, the box of tacks disappears from his hand between shots. In a later shot, he picks it up without having put it down first.
Monk was in a huge rush to leave the crime scene to get to City Hall to vote. He's leaving real fast with Natalie to get there early while Disher & the Captain watch him leave. But then, when Monk gets to City Hall and Monk is getting in the elevator to go upstairs to vote, the elevator opens and Disher is coming out, yet he was still at the crime scene.
When she is in City Hall with Harold and Monk, Natalie is holding a water bottle, but the hand she holds the water bottle with varies between shots.
After Monk buys Miss Schechter a hot dog and she is sitting on the bench eating it, the hot dog's length changes numerous times, including going back to completely whole at one point after she has already begun eating it.
In the credits, there is a mistake: Kali Rocha's character is spelled as "Maria Scheter" in the actor's credits. It should read "Maria Schecter" instead, as seen in 11:12.
Monk is trying to prevent the destruction of the parking garage to preserve evidence that might show who killed Trudy, however, he already knew who did it in Mr. Monk Is on the Run: Part 1 (2008).
Incorrect: He only claims this superficially and admits in his session with Dr. Bell that it's about the wall labeled "B-5" which is the last thing that Trudy saw. Besides, there might still be clues which would lead him to who was behind the hired killer.
When Monk is shown in the parking garage right before it is to be destroyed, there is a fire extinguisher in the background. The fire extinguisher. and the case it is in, would have been removed before the garage was destroyed.
From the look and sound of them, the chains that Monk wraps himself in to prevent the parking structure from being demolished are obviously plastic.
During the story, Harold Krenshaw is still trying to learn the name of Adrian's new therapist but Natalie had previously told Harold that his first name is Neven. There couldn't be many therapists with that name (either first or last) in San Francisco.
In Mr. Monk Fights City Hall (2009), Harold continually asks Adrian and Natalie for the name of Monk's new therapist, but Monk refuses to tell. However, in Mr. Monk Gets Hypnotized (2008), Monk tells Harold the first name of his therapist when he meets him by chance at a crime scene. So, he already was told the first name eight episodes before.
