Heartwarming
deception-8178322 January 2022
I first watched this series when i was in high school, about a decade ago. Really enjoyed this back then, and while rewinding for like a third time now, I still get surprised atr how heartwarming these episodes can be. Especially this particular one hits home since Sarah and I have the same lousy fathers though I bet mine is a lot worse. Or maybe I am wrong who knows. You may wonder how one can re-watch the entire show so many times, and yes, I remember each and every episodes of Chuck, every little details and dialogues, so nothing is really new to me, but it definitely doesn't mean that it's anything less entertaining. It's the same reason I watched The Office more than 5 times, and it's because these old episodes put a little grin on your face. You don't laugh because you already know what's coming, but usually a mild warmth to your soul is more than enough. Plus, it's a good English studying material.

more about Sarah Warning: Spoilers
A bit more about Sarah (we know not her "real" name but this is the one that "keeps"), and yes we knew her dad was not a very good man, been in jail, did we also get a hint that Sarah knew her dad was not honest, yup. Did we know she "helped" her dad, that could be debated but we did find out for sure in this episode.

Interesting past, Sarah "faking" being hit by type of bank truck, her dad getting money then playing doc to take her to hospital, uh today that wouldn't work right?! How it worked then, ?. Anyway Chuck being jealous of Sarah with her dad, Jack, whom he "flashes" on, as telling Sarah "bad man", he says all true and Sarah says this is my dad, Chucks "stumbling/stammering" hello sir.

Morgan borrows money from Devon for an apartment, he buys a delorian instead, which really does not work, but Ellie wants the money back and when Devon finds out what it was used for, wants it back too. Anna finds out it was to be used for a place for them and is also not happy with Morgan, who then goes to Chuck to bail him out, he does, but discovers where the con $ went.

Jack has taken money from some very bad guys, whom Chuck "flashes", helps Sarah and Jack "scam" for the CIA, as the sheik,(who the CIA want to stop), manages to get all done with Jack putting $ into Chucks account. "Cop face" Casey, "shnuck", Chuck, And of course Jack betrays his daughter again, though not as completely the way we thought.

Casey saving the day as Chuck was trying to save the day, meaning Jack and Sarah, and of course the delorian is used by the sheik to get away, but CIA is able to "trace" money to then put hold on and cripple the sheiks bad guy moves. Somehow was the plan by Chuck that worked, course wont tell Chuck, and "shooting" her father, he wonders why not used blanks.

Jack to be arrested, but Sarah, without really trying, lets her father get away, he and Chuck talk as he watches his daughter with police, "she really is a cop of some sort" so totally not what he was/is and seems like will be, Chuck "of some sort", and he is the right "shnook", she turned out good despite him, and take care of her.
