- TriviaSeveral of the baby names considered before settling on Poof are references to famous people: Keanu - actor Keanu Reeves. Tallulah - actress Tallulah Bankhead. Flo Jo - athlete Florence Griffith Joyner. Kajagoogoo - 1980s pop band of the same name. Elvis - singer/actor Elvis Presley. Oprah - talk show host Oprah Winfrey. Fauntleroy - book/movie character Little Lord Fauntleroy. Farrah - actress Farrah Fawcett. Bosley - possibly a reference to actor Tom Bosley or the character of Bosley from the 1970s series Charlie's Angels (1976). Liza - singer/actress Liza Minnelli. Napoleon - French military and political leader Napoleon Bonaparte.
- GoofsWhen Jorgan says Cosmo and Wanda can visit the baby every other millennium, the calendar flips from the 21st century to the 23rd century, which would actually be every other century, not millennium.

Best avoided.
I must point out that unlike most viewers of the Fairly Odd Parents, I am an adult and am not ashamed to admit I like the show. Thanks to clever writing and unusually good stories with likable characters, this is one kids' show that parents can not just tolerate but enjoy. Heck, I think I know more about this show than most of my students I teach--it's just a neat show that doesn't insult the audience's intelligence.
Now, in the latest from Nickelodeon, I am now asking myself "how many times can they mess up the Fairly Odd Parents formula until the show is completely unwatchable?". Apparently, not too many more times! After the dreadful Jimmy Neutron/Timmy Turner crossover episodes, a musical movie(!) and now a Fairly Odd baby, I can see that the series has finally "jumped the shark" and is on its last legs. I wish the network would either return to the original formula that made the show great or just end it once and for all. Adding a stupid baby to the show is just the last straw!
