House is celebrating its 20th anniversary this fall so what better time to check in on how old the cast of the Fox hit was then and now!
Premiering on Nov. 16, 2004, House centered around Gregory House, an absolute medical genius with a Sherlock Holmes ability to unravel medical mysteries that baffled other doctors. However, thanks to pain from a blood clot in his leg that had him relying on a cane, House was also an arrogant, selfish, cynical jerk insulting everyone around him.
The show became one of Fox's biggest hits of the decade, running eight seasons with Laurie earning two Golden Globes and several Emmy nominations. It also boosted many of its cast to future stardom. So how old were the actors then and now?

When you think about the Power Universe and its vast and varied characters, the ones who come to mind first are usually the big players.
Ghost. Tommy. Kanan. Tariq.
A series of men known by one name alone who shaped this Universe and made it into what it is today.
But for every big player, there's someone else beside them, a sidekick, if you will. Or better yet, a partner. Someone who helped them succeed and, for some, caused their eventual downfall.
There are many duos across the original Power and the three spinoffs currently airing, and we decided to look at some of the very best.

Starz’s Power Book IV: Force will conclude following the drama’s third season which is currently in production in Chicago. It’s lights out for Tommy (Joseph Sikora) and the gang but that doesn’t mean their stories are over.
As Deadline reported in March, Starz CEO Jeffrey Hirsch revealed plans to contain content costs by developing more new shows versus sustaining series longer as they become more expensive. The plan was implemented immediately as Starz announced the next day the development of a new prequel series Origin, following the Ghost (Omari Hardwick in the flagship series) and Tommy during their early years. The new show is similar to Power Book III: Raising Kanan, which centers on Power’s favorite foe, Kanan Stark (played by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson) during his younger years.

Anyone who saw Mathis’ marvelous wig creations will understand immediately why she is one of three recipients this year of Special Tony Awards, non-competitive honors bestowed by Tony organizers for productions, artists and organizations who do not fall into any of the competitive categories.
But what many in the theater community don’t understand is why Mathis or any of her design colleagues in wig, hair and makeup can’t simply compete in a category devoted to their artistry and work. And some of those designers, along with...

During a recent Emmys FYC conversation in Atlanta with Bmf showrunner Heather Zuhlke, stars Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr., Da’Vinchi, Michole Briana White and Russell Hornsby — who respectively play Big Meech, Terry, and Flenory matriarch and patriarch Lucille and Charles — and executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, who had been less active with the network in recent years after several fallouts, was full of pride and commentary about the Starz drama’s current success and future plans.
There’s no denying that Jackson putting his hip hop fame and street cred behind Power, the series essentially about a drug kingpin named Ghost (Omari Hardwick) who wanted to get out the game and become a respectable businessman, changed the premium network’s fortune. Power reportedly increased Starz’s subscribers base by as much as 40 percent.
From that came three successful spinoffs — Power Book II: Ghost; Power Book III: Raising Kanan and Power Book IV: Force.

Annie, are you okay? You look like you might faint after producer Graham King turned up at CinemaCon to surprise the crowd with a first look at Antoine Fuqua’s Michael Jackson biopic, Michael. Said to be an emotionally intense depiction of the King of Pop, Michael is positioning itself as a Huge event film. JoBlo’s editor-in-chief, Chris Bumbray, is in the crowd and says Michael will surely be controversial.
During his presentation, Graham said he knows everyone has an opinion about Michael Jackson, for good or ill. However, he did change the world of pop music forever, and his controversy made him a fascinating subject for Fuqua’s film. Graham also said Jackson was an enigma, but behind everything was a man with a very complicated, difficult life.
Michael contains 30 songs from Jackson’s legendary catalog. Next, a trailer played for the crowd, showing Jaafar Jackson as the Gloved One.

Starz has given the prequel series an early renewal following its February Season 3 finale. Season 4 is currently in production in New York. The news arrives shortly after the announcement the network’s focus has shifted to creating new spinoffs versus current seasons running too long to save costs and the news that Power Book II: Ghost will be ending after four seasons.
Power Book III: Raising Kanan explores the early life of everyone’s favorite villain Kanan Stark, originally played by 50 Cent in the flagship series and shows his evolution from naive teenager to cutthroat villain. Season 3 saw an epic showdown between Kanan (Mekai Curtis) and Raq (Patina Miller), resulting in a couple of surprise deaths and the return of a fan-favorite character. The third Power spinoff will outlive the second.
Starz has renewed Power Book III: Raising Kanan for a fifth season, with the pickup for the spinoff starring Mekai Curtis coming as the fourth cycle of the show is in production in New York. Creator Sascha Penn will return as showrunner and exec producer.
The renewal means Raising Kanan will officially outlive Power Book II: Ghost, as the latter series will conclude with its upcoming fourth season. Starz, meanwhile, is developing a Power prequel series, Origins, which would follow Ghost and Tommy. Power Book IV: Force is currently filming its third season in Chicago.
“We know that our fans can’t get enough of Raising Kanan. As the inevitable evolution of this young man into a killer plays out, we knew we had much more backstory to share in this ever-escalating family saga,” said Kathryn Busby, president of originals at Starz.

The upcoming Michael Jackson biopic “Michael” is embracing the Motown sound — announcing key castings including Larenz Tate as Motown Records founder Berry Gordy and Kat Graham as the legendary Diana Ross.
As the film chronicles Jackson’s rise to prominence — first as a member of the Jackson 5, then as a solo artist — the record label will factor in significantly. “Power” franchise star Tate (who coincidentally played “Thriller” producer Quincy Jones in 2004’s “Ray”) takes on the Motown impresario Gordy, who redefined American music by platforming such acts as the Jackson 5, Smokey Robinson & the Miracles, the Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, the Four Tops, Gladys Knight and the Pips and Diana Ross & the Supremes.
Graham portrays Ross, who, as lead singer of the chart-topping group, was asked to officially introduce the Jackson 5 to the world and remained a lifelong influence on Michael Jackson.

Ghost and Tommy are getting their own “Power” origins story. As Starz continues to span the “Power” universe into multiple series, the network is ready to announce the official fourth spinoff. The network confirmed Wednesday that it is developing the “Power” prequel series “Origins,” which will follow the beginning story of characters Ghost and Tommy, played in the original “Power” by Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora.
Sascha Penn (“Power Book III: Raising Kanan”) will serve as the executive producer for “Origins,” which comes from Lionsgate TV. (It’s unclear whether it will actually be called “Power Book V: Origins.”)
The first “Power,” which debuted in 2014, starred Hardwick as James St. Patrick, a nightlife entrepreneur who is also a massively successful cocaine distributor known on the streets as “Ghost.” He rules that empore alongside his childhood friend Tommy, played by Sikora.

Starz is expanding the Power Universe again with a prequel spinoff series that will reunite Ghost and Tommy.
In the vein of Power Book III: Raising Kanan, which follows the youthful years of everyone’s favorite foe, Kanan Stark (played by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson), the new series Origin will follow the early years of the beloved duo of Ghost and Tommy’s (played by Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora in the Og series).
Fans of Raising Kanan have been asking for seasons when Ghost and Tommy would run into Kanan since the teens met in high school, yet those characters had never been cast. But as Tommy reappeared after Power in Power Book II: Ghost before spinning off into his series Power Book IV: Force, it would make sense if Ghost and Tommy appeared in Raising Kanan before Origins. With Starz set to become a pure play standalone public company by year end, CEO Jeff Hirsch is out talking up its strong points and how it competes in a crowded streaming landscape — price increases, bundling, and most importantly, he said, containing content costs with a slate of new shows in development as later season series get costly.
“When seasons go from one to two to three to four [seasons], three to four is where the cost really pops because most of the actors get bigger raises, and you have to really manage that. So, you have to have in your portfolio of development shows that can actually replace shows as they get into later seasons,” he said at a Deutsche Bank media conference today, providing one of the most blunt assessments of a practice introduced by Netflix and embraced by other streamers where shows produced under the Cost Plus model...

Great Caesar’s Ghost, Perry White has been found.
Wendell Pierce, perhaps best known for his work as a detective on HBO’s seminal crime series The Wire, has been cast as the iconic editor-in-chief of The Daily Planet in James Gunn’s Superman.
The new feature based on the DC Comics character began rolling in Atlanta on Thursday. It was previously titled Superman: Legacy.
David Corenswet is starring as Clark Kent/Superman, with Rachel Brosnahan playing Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane. The cast also includes Nicholas Hoult as classic villain Lex Luthor.
The character of Perry White is a Man of Steel fixture, first introduced in a Superman radio serial in 1940. He is the boss of both Kent and Lane, and depending on the incarnation, can be a tough-as-nails boss, the harried-by-his-reporters boss, or a father-figure boss. Never say never.
We should know better by now as Power fans to assume anything because rarely are things exactly what they seem.
And Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 3 Episode 10 was the kind of hour that makes you remember why the Power Universe is one of the best things on television.
This whole season has been building toward Raq versus Ronnie, Lou-Lou confronting his demons head-on, and Howard either getting away with it all or finally getting his comeuppance.
And the finale didn't disappoint in getting us a lot of answers.
Coming off the Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 3 Episode 9 cliffhanger, we quickly learned that Raq and Marvin didn't kill their younger brother or leave him somewhere to fend for himself.
Instead, they enrolled him in a posh rehabilitation center, which wasn't surprising. No matter how frustrated they became with Lou-Lou, he's still family. And even in anger,...
