- TriviaOne of the features of this special is Beryl and Malcolm McDowell performing a scene from "Entertaining Mr. Sloane", which they had appeared in together on stage. In her 1984 autobiography "So Much Love" Beryl revealed that McDowell, of whom she was very fond, had accidentally caused her an injury during the stage version:
"[...] Malcolm - poor little thing, he didn't mean to do it - but he had broken my foot. I went to James Cyriacs, and he said, 'Well, all these bones leading up from your toes are broken and I have to put it in plaster.' I said, 'Oh, you can't, because I have to wear stiletto heels, and I'm opening tomorrow. I'll get you some tickets for the play and then you'll understand why I have to wear stiletto heels!'"
- GoofsThe first sketch in a radio station opens and closes with shots of a clock. The time is first shown as being slightly before 2pm and ends just a little after 2:03pm; a period of around four minutes. However, the discussion between these two points lasts for exactly five minutes.
