Kaylon Primary is unfamiliar with the concept of a wedding or marriage. The biological inhabitants of Kalyon who built the robotic inhabitants were shown to have family units similar to humans. As the Kalyon share an information net, even if the current Primary was not alive prior to the extinction of the biological Kalyons, he would have access to knowledge about their lives and customs, including the bonding of family units.
