The series finale brought so many online viewers to AMC+ that its website crashed when the show aired.
The airline used in this episode, Wayfarer, was the same company whose jet, Wayfarer 515, crashed, when air traffic controller Donald Margolis (played by John de Lancie in ABQ (2009) ) inadvertently allowed the flight path of a commercial airliner to cross the space of a small corporate jet over Albuquerque, because he was inconsolable over the death of his daughter, Jane (Krysten Ritter). Her death, in turn, was a result of her affiliation with Jesse Pinkman. Jimmy is wearing a blue ribbon commemorating the tragedy, near his left lapel, when he makes a court appearance.
This episode marks Bob Odenkirk's 99th and final appearance as Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman in the Breaking Bad universe.
At 1 hour and 9 minutes this is the longest episode of the entire series.
In the opening scene of the episode, where Mike and Jimmy "take a beat" from their odyssey. Mike's first answer to the reoccurring question of what he'd do when given a time machine was "December 8, 2001", the date in which Mike's son, Matty, was murdered. But he then course-corrects and immediately changes his answer to "March 17, 1984", as that was the date Mike took his first bribe. Mike still believes that becoming dirty was what caused his son to lose his life.
