Sam is determined to ruin Arthur's bath time morning, that is until he sees a letter addressed to Arthur, containing news of the allotment.
It's definitely a comedy that has you a little frustrated as you watch, frustrated for Arthur who is tormented by Sam, who is very old fashioned in his ways, and clearly used to living an independent life, that's what makes this show work, that dynamic of Sam, contrasted with Arthur's very precise social climbing attitude. I am not sure I could cope with Sam as poor Arthur does.
liked the scene where we finally get to see Mrs Paget Wood, such a lady, understandable why Arthur feels the need to swoon around her, the ever marvellous Damaris Hayman was so utterly perfect for the part, great to finally see this much talked about character.
