Everett Grant has beef with Russian mobster Maxim Vasiliiv played by Oleg Prudius or if you’re a pro wrestling fan, Vladimir Kozlov. It seems Everett’s security company has been cutting into the Russian mob’s profits and they’re not happy about that. Since Phoenix is an action film, they decide to settle it with a fight to the death. That would be Everett’s death via a bullet to the head made to look like suicide.
WWE wrestler Natalie Eva Marie plays Everett’s daughter Fiona, Phoenix to her friends. She’s told of his death by General Shackleton. She knows he would never have killed himself and decides to put her hand-to-hand combat trainer’s skills to work finding answers.

Outside of the first Iron Man film, of all Marvel's lead-up movies, I think Captain America was one of the better ones. It wasn't perfect, fell into something of a cookie-cutter plot at times, but it was one of the more enjoyable and entertaining comic book movies. So I'm interested to see what comes next, and how they'll move the Captain into the mordern day following the events of Avengers.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier will pick-up where Marvel’s The Avengers left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.
I'm very excited to see that Black Widow is going to play a big role in this story, and not just have a small cameo. This sequel is going to be great. I'm looking forward to seeing how everything turns out!
The movie is set to be released on April 4th, 2014. You can check out the full press release below!

The first official image for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" has arrived along with an extensive synopsis, both courtesy of Marvel. The image itself is quite striking and expertly sums up Cap's internal conflict as he fully steps into the modern world. How will he reconcile the shield behind him and the S.H.I.E.L.D. in front of him?
I have to say, this is a great teaser image for the sequel to "Captain America: The First Avenger." If there was one thing fans wanted more of from "Marvel's the Avengers," it was time-displaced Steve coping with the new world around him. This one image pretty much says, "hey, we're dealing with it now." And that's great.
Check out the full synopsis, and a rundown of its major reveals, below.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier begins production today, and along with this pensive behind-the-scenes photo, Marvel Studios has declassified a few new details about the upcoming sequel.
While the 2011 original was set during World War II, the sequel — as expected — takes place largely in the present day following the events of last summer’s The Avengers. And for those unfamiliar with comic book lore, the subtitle refers not to a snowbound Chris Evans, but to a villainous bio-engineered warrior created from a familiar figure we’ve seen before in the hero’s past (more on that later.)

Another Marvel Universe villain is set to appear in Anthony and Joe Russo's Captain America: The Winter Soldier as Latino Review reports that Ufc Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre will be playing French kickboxing master Georges Batroc, Aka Batroc the Leaper. With origins dating all the way back to 1966's "Tales of Suspense" #75, Batroc doesn't have any superhuman abilities beyond his mastery of martial arts. I know that as a reviewer, I’m supposed to maintain some degree of objectivity and not bring my own prejudices into what I watch, but let’s be honest for a moment: there’s no way that you can watch an Mma film on purpose and not know that it’s going to suck more than a little. I mean, seriously. I like seeing guys pummel each other as much as the next guy, but this is the second one that I’ve watched (the first being Never Surrender), and the feeling that they had made the film as a kind of endurance test was just as strong with this film as it was with that one.
