- We spend our whole lives working for something, and the we die, it just ends, it's over.
- Two people link up via a dating app. On the first date, they go on a killing spree.
- Robert leaves his annoying wife in a heroin ridden trashy extended stay motel while he selfishly and secretly pursues love through an internet dating app. Felicia, a new Los Angeles transplant who hopes to further her modeling career, is Robert's date.
Robert and Felicia awkwardly begin their date trying to be normal with small talk and pleasantries until they both discover that their souls are unique. Their conversation moves from Felicia's disapproval of nature, flowers, and birds, to philosophizing on death and what comes after. Shortly after, they innately understand that they have something to offer to one another. Robert abruptly asks what's on Felicia's "secret bucket list" and she reveals to him that she wants to murder someone. There's an awkward silence as Robert ponders if Felicia is serious or not and if she is serious what should be done.
For the rest of the date, Roberts reason for existing is to help Felicia realize her dream of committing murder multiple times. Felicia and Robert travel around Los Angeles clumsily murdering unsuspecting folk in search of satisfaction and the perfect kill. This bloody romance goes on from sunset to sunrise until both Robert and Felicia understand that there's more and there will always be more.
Through the various instances of violence both Robert and Felicia learn more about one another and become more transparent. Robert sees that there's more to Felicia and he questions if murder is really the burning desire in Felicia's soul. He begins to question if helping Felicia murder people is all that he really wants.
