Enjoyable series overall. But doesn't feel like a series finale.

This mini series is a fun binge with some absolutely insane scenes and interesting characters. But it didn't feel like a series finale. It honestly felt like they were setting up for a lot more. But knowing there's no more coming makes it feel incomplete.

Average ending

The plot of the last episode was interesting, just like the whole TV series. The storyline was kinda well-developed, but there were still some plot holes. The characters were very interesting and well-developed. The filming location of the TV show was really good. By the way, the last kill was amazing, super brutal. The ending scene was kinda unexpected, but there still many questions left unanswered. Overall, it was an average TV show, really complicated and I don't know if I would ever watch again. In my opinion, it deserves a second season, because we need more answers. The killcount was really average, nothing wow (I expected something gorier). Of course, it was a really weird TV series and there were too many disgusting scenes. Moreover, the casting and the acting were both good. Last but not least, only the last 3 episodes were really good and intense.

Just WOW!

Warning: Spoilers
This series really blew my mind. I LOVE weird, mythology, other planes of existence, all of it. I have to confess that while the gross out factor went from zero to a billion in this series, at least they were doing it comedically. Not easy. Consumption of sustenance is a running theme. Sustenance not guaranteed to be the lovely pasta dinner Boro made for Jennifer's family.

The soundtrack (not all tunes are listed per episode) for the series is fantastic. Many tunes brought back some great memories PRIMUS & Concrete Blond. Tarot Card Reader for 45yrs and just for giggles: The Devil is slavery. Usually means the more STUFF we want and ultimately receive, the more we are BOUND to them. Could mean that if you have expensive horses and dogs, you really cannot take a month long vacation: You are a slave to them on SOME level. Devil card is all about materialism. The Death card is change: Can signify your daughter getting her first menses, menopause, promotion, graduation...not intimidating. The TRUE death card, where people actually die is Queen of Swords.

In the previous episode, I was careful not to write a spoiler but once I saw that THING have breasts...? It had confirmed who it was (but I knew much earlier in the series who it was reaching out). The poster in the apartment about Mothers and Daughters not connecting immediately...I LOVE that too: Easter Eggs, tiny spoilers that just whizz right over most heads.

Even Roy's situation: When he bailed Lisa out of jail, he pretty much gave word/manifestation of his own storyline. How Lou ended up, Christine had already threatened with Mace a few episodes ago. I thought all of this detail that went so deep (yet was on the surface the entire time) is probably the best writing. I'm happy to find shows that do this, they are the greatest gems.

Boro knew what was likely to happen/have a backup plan: I could not understand Mary in the Milk Bath (I wanted it to be acid for HER), but it all made sense because Boro is no fool. Can't live 900yrs without being ridiculously intelligent and a self preservation meter that is unbeatable. Roy's polar opposite, now that I think about it. My heart went out to Mary until the rain coat. I wish Boro chose Code instead/earlier.

Lisa acknowledging her power after meeting her mother: You can see the magick in her rise, even to her shoes (they change as she walks from door to Roy screaming that he won the Golden Globe). Some big things are coming.

All in all, this is a bizarre roller coaster ride that sometimes drops to a place some of us only dream or read about. I was honestly very sad to see it end and I'm hoping that there is a Real Alvin out there to produce Season Two with more backstory to feed us. And keep the makeup crew and special effects: Off the charts without it being OVERLY done.

Oh, a thought about why Lisa abandoned having her movie made: She realized that her mother saw the movie after all. Her mother had been watching over her all along. I'm still baffled how her mother could have had her, yet still locked down there. How OLD is Lisa, then? We definitely need a Season Two for this. Or a book, I am going to get the book but I have a feeling there might not be the backstory I'm seeking. Her leaving Lou with a movie about who I believe is Elizabeth Bathory...more foreshadowing about what Lisa really is, perhaps? Mary DID call her a vampire. Hm.

Really hoping they come out with more.
