Would you like a slave ?
lyntonadam5 August 2020
I'm always interested in an unusual story, regardless of the medium, & there's a Japanese genre of quirky stuff which fits the bill. For example, "You're My Pet" has a young woman discover a young man sleeping in an alley & decides to take him home & make him her pet; like a cat or dog. Or there's "My Girlfriend Is A Serial Killer", where a cute young lady with a high/girlish voice murders people while a man who lives next door somehow falls in love. The former works better than the latter, & this new series is a good one. An average office drone ( former J-Popper Airi Matsui ) is in a bar one night when she gives a male customer ( the suave Mokomichi Hayami ) a bit of an insult. It later turns out that he's the highly talented CEO of the large pharma company she works for. He then begs her to let him be her slave, since nobody has ever done anything but praise him. And he's VERY rich. So it's sort of the plot to the movie "Secretary" flipped around & nowhere near as intense ( & adapted from a manga by its author ). It's entertaining & often funny as the smitten CEO goes to extreme lengths to pledge his devotion while his creeped-out target subjects him to periodic violence. Yes, he's technically a stalker yet his affection seems genuine, so where does he cross the line into criminal behaviour ? It's an interesting question.

THIS GUY IS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE IN MY LIFE: A Super Silly JDrama
Jinxxa_Wolf29 May 2023
THIS GUY IS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE IN MY LIFE was a funny one to be sure, full of goofy humor and crazy antics. While I didn't really buy into the romance aspect, the comedy is pretty top notch, golden. Definitely made me laugh a whole bunch. It was pretty outrageous and over the top, but in a good way I think. Lots of slapstick, crazy situations and scenarios, as well as very funny main characters. Don't go into this one expecting your average rom-com, because it's pretty crazy!

Overall, this was a really funny and pretty out-there series that I definitely recommend to Jdrama and comedy fans. Japanese anime-esque humor abounds. Also the main actress was pretty enjoyable. Definitely worth a try!

Honestly a funny Yandere type of show!

Warning: Spoilers
So i was actually reading the first 2 chapters of the manga and was scrolling through the comments on the pirate site to realise that there was a jdrama version. i didnt want to wait for new chapters to come out for weeks so i decided to watch this in its jdrama format instead.

Omg guys this was particularly wack and just hilarious. We just see the boss appearing in stupid random places in order to stalk the girl whereever she goes. From stalking her through a car roof top including a hotel window and sliding his ass down a stair rail, hes just a legit psycho spider man lol. DID i mention he also photobombs the girls travel pics in the end? The actor who does him, did a great job at playing the role very well! I do wish the ending wasnt rushed cause i just was so addicted man!

Seriously folks, if you need a legit laugh, im proud to say this since so far, i have mostly seen bad manga to live action adaptions, is one of the decent ones to definitely check out!!!!

Funniest Romantic Comedy EVER! Couldn't stop laughing.
PalmBeachG12 November 2022
This is the most hysterically funny romantic comedy I have ever seen. The first episode made me laugh so hard I could not stop. But the fact that my husband had his own pharma company in the US once may have made it funnier to me, as I could just imagine!! The lead male Mokomichi Hayami played the part so funny and such a cute shaggy haircut made him look so puppy like, he fit the role perfectly. I usually dislike the male competitor in these type of rom-coms but you couldn't dislike the cardiac physician this time as he was a pretty nice guy too. I wish it was a little longer actually. The only thing I do think it could have done better was the ending - maybe one romantic kiss at the end before running downstairs would have been fun - would like to see a sequel. Usually watch K-drama and only chose to watch this since it was about a pharmaceutical company theme and just couldn't stop laughing; genius script.

Fairytale and Complex
8misaru811 February 2022
The dramas look like a fairytale because there are many things happening that are not realistic. But it expresses complex emotions of characters. It makes my heartthrob. Absorb all, Mokomichi is a very sweet actor! Also Airi is a talented actor. When you want to laugh you must watch these.
