This Spanish-language film is the first non-English speaking project directed by R. Christian Anderson.
The animation was completed using only editing and simple transitions.
The voice of "Alma" (the bank teller) was performed by Lita S. Bowman (credited as her birth name "Estrellita Santos"). She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She recorded her lines in January 2020 at the age of 92.
The film is dedicated to the memory of "Marcella Laureana Salgado-Felix Santos" who was the maternal grandmother of the director.
Though the film is less than 5-minutes, it represents many hours of photo montage, editing, tinting, and color-matching. The village street alone took over a month to create, though it's on-screen for less than a minute.
