- Belle puts on a wedding dress in a dress shop. Her madam calls, asking if she does girls. She asks who the third is. They go through the roster. The client is Ashok, her regular since she started. She just generally doesn't like girls, no specific problem with the sex part.
Ben walks in, she's supposed to be helping him find a suit. The woman at the dress shop thinks she's the bride. He says it's ok, she's just here to help.
They haven't discussed her job yet, but then they do. He asks if she was working as a prostitute the night her sister had a baby. Yes. Was she doing it when they were together? No. Does she have a madam? An agent, yes. Why does she do it? "Would you believe me if I said I enjoyed it?" What's she doing tonight? A threesome.
She refers to her client as lovely and he scoffs. Her Belle phone rings. It's her madam. She takes the call next to Ben. She'll be working with Naomi. He says he has to go. They argue about who's paying. It's settled when she pulls out a roll of bills.
One of the things Ben asked was how she got into it. A flashback answers. A one night stand went well and he gave her cab fare. Except, in the cab, she realized it was a lot more. She'd been paid for sex.
She goes to the threesome. "I'm hardly a girl's girl, but I will go gay for pay."
She meets Naomi. She asks what the client is like. Belle describes his personality. Naomi meant sexwise. She suggests good cop-bad cop. No refill for her, thanks. Good cop material, Naomi reckons. They prep, comparing lingerie and toys.
Belle's having fun. Ash arrives. Naomi tells Belle not to look scared. She reinforces the point with her tongue.
They go to work. Trying to decide who's going to do what, coordinating their responses. They're a very pleasing sight, decked out in the best finery as he enters the room. The sex is fun, and they throw in an extra touch of performance for good measure. Rounding it off manually. Belle steps in for Naomi when she needs to go to the bathroom, like roommates helping each other on homework.
Ash laughs at them debriefing. He read the book Belle gave him. He notices it's early. Two girls, half the time. Not that he feels short-changed. He thanks Belle tenderly and they snuggle, leaving Naomi out.
Back with their clothes on, Belle tells Naomi she had fun and asks if she'd like to hang out sometime. She asks if she means sex. No. Does she mean eating Hagen Daaz and watching Pretty Woman. No. Then yes, Naomi says. She asks Belle's real name. She tells her Hannah. They exchange numbers. Naomi walks out, then calls immediately to ask what Hannah's doing.
They eat on a park bench and swap war stories. The best present a client ever gave Naomi: a Mini convertible. The worst present a client ever gave Belle: a hotel sewing kit. Naomi notices Hannah checking her phone. She tells her about waiting to hear from Ben. They talk about how hard it is to tell people.
Hannah has made a female friend. They can talk about men, sex and work. Because they're all the same thing. They go sex toy shopping together, bond.
Hannah's napping when her cell phone rings. Her madam. Belle asks if she can take a booking next week's Wednesday. Belle says no because that's her regular with Ashok. The madam tells her Ashok's with Naomi. Hannah's bummed.
She tells herself at some point his tastes were bound to change. She deletes Naomi from her phone. She's upset because there's no one she can call to say she had a bad day at work.
She calls Ben. She starts crying. She asks him to come over. He does. He tells her she looked good in the wedding dress. He brought her food.
He apologizes for how he acted the other day. She's the only girl he's ever slept with who still likes him. Except his fiancée. She asks if she's ever going to be able to talk about her job with him. He tells her to give it a shot.
He asks her for a favor. She checks that it's not to have sex with him and his fiancée. No. He asks her to be his best man. That should be some bachelor party.
