Few years ago, Govinda had slapped a fan named Santosh Ray on the sets of the film Money Hai Toh Honey Hai whilst they were shooting for it at Filmistan studios in suburban Mumbai for misbehaving on the sets. Later, the fan registered a complaint against the actor for assaulting him. Now, after the fan moved the Supreme Court regarding the case, they issued an order asking the actor to apologize for the act and we hear that the actor to has obeyed the law and apologized to Santosh.
Revealing about the details of the incidence, Santosh Ray had earlier mentioned that he was just watching the shooting of the movie (which happened in Filmistan Studios in suburban Mumbai) when the star allegedly slapped him. When the fan had initially filed a case at the Bombay High Court, it had quashed the case stating that since Santosh filed the case...

Film stars' getting into a public brawl is nothing new. There have been many instances of the same. Readers may recall the infamous slapping incident that had taken place in the year 2008, wherein actor Govinda had publically slapped a fan on the sets of Money Hai Toh Honey Hai. When asked the reason, Govinda then replied that the reason for him to slap the guy was because he was getting too close to the girls (on the sets) and that took a stand against it (by slapping him). Yesterday, the Supreme Court observed that any film star should not indulge in fighting in a public place. That's why the Supreme Court directed actor Govinda to apologize to his fan. The bench (which was headed by Justice T S Thakur) saw the incident's video clips in an open court and objected to Govinda's behavior. Justice T S Thakur also said...

Choreographer Ganesh Acharya, who has directed films like Swami (2007), Money Hai Toh Honey Hai (2008) and Angel (2011), is now in plans of directing a dance film that he says will be different from Remo D’souza’s directorial Abcd (Any Body Can Dance).
“I am planning to make a dance film which will be completely original and different from Abcd or any other dance film. Also, it will not be 3D,” he stated.
He also said that he has projects like Aamir’s Peekay, Indra Kumar’s Grand Masti and Saif’s Bullet Raja to choreograph. He recently choreographed the songs from Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, a biopic made by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra on the legendary Milkha Singh.
Ganesh added,” I had worked with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra in Rang De Basanti and he approached me for this film. Some dance moves were a challenge since we had a few military people to do them.

Comedy veteran Govinda, who is now attempting his second run at Bollywood success following a brief detour into a short lived political career, says that though the nature of the Hindi film industry has changed since he started out, he wants to “remain an actor all my life”. One of the major things the actor has learned about the contemporary film business is the importance of the promotions machine.
“Publicity drama has become a very important part for any film now. It is an important element. That’s the only reason why some of my previous movies didn’t do well.” says the actor – whose recent forays into film have included Do Knot Disturb, Naughty@40, Life Partner and Money Hai Toh Honey Hai. Unfortunately, none of these films replicated the runaway success of Partner, the film that marked Govinda’s return to the film industry following a stint in Congress representing Mumbai North.

In 2008, De Taali was released after some delay while Money Hai Toh Honey Hai featured him in a miniscule role....
