A version for Nintendo's Game Boy Color system was released in 2000; the new version deviated from the look of the original PC version by featuring Playmobil's newly released furniture sets for their Victorian dollhouse line, as well as replacing some of those that had been retired in 1998/99.
On the sides of Mr. Morris' milk truck, a little Playmobil boy with blue overalls and a red cap can be seen. The boy is Alex, a reference to the later Playmobil Interactive game, Alex Builds His Farm (1999), another Alain Tascan production.
Laura mentions that the statue found in the streets of her village is of Hype; this is a clear reference to the later Playmobil Interactive game, Hype: The Time Quest (1999), also produced by Alain Tascan.
