Beth Shea then in her mid 20's was aged to play a character (Maria Jenkins) in her late 50's for this film.
Salter Giddens left the film half way through filming, after disagreements with writer/director Warren Metzler. The role was given to Stephen Clark and Metzler decided to insert credit each actor on screen each time they alternated. The film, therefore, opens with Metzler explaining this device to the audience.
