This week’s episode of The Flash, titled “Fallout,” capped off a two-part story arc focusing mostly on Firestorm. Last week in “The Nucleur Man,” the team attempted to track Ronnie Raymond’s whereabouts after he makes acquaintances with one Quentin Quale. What began as an awkward conversation between them, ended with Ronnie losing control and unleashing his powers on the Concordance Research scientist. Knowing that Dr. Martin Stein is in control of Ronnie’s body, the Star Labs team devise a plan to find and capture Firestorm who’s becoming increasingly dangerous to the citizens of Central City. It turns out that Ronnie/Martin have been watching over Stein’s wife,...

A strong antagonist makes for the most compelling stories. Especially in the world of superpowered heroes, a villain needs to work on many different levels or the movie falls flat. Here are 10 actors who were up for the role of a hero in a movie or television series, but were ultimately cast as the villain. With the exception of two entries on this list, all of the actors auditioned and or screen-tested for their respective parts. Though they didn’t get the part they initially wanted, they got the part they deserved, and gave audiences performances to remember.
Tom Hiddleston - Thor (2011)
With three films as the Asgardian trickster Loki under his belt, it’s hard to imagine Tom Hiddleston as any other character in the Marvel universe. However, before donning the golden horns, the actor originally auditioned for…

On TV this Sunday: Father’s Day = Finales Day, as many series draw to their seasonal close. What’s better than a tie or some golf clubs? How about The Killing catching a killer and Nurse Jackie celebrating a special birthday, not to mention Girls’ boy trouble and a Borgias betrothal?
Here are 10 shows, in addition to Falling Skies‘ return (linked below), to keep on your radar.

NBC and Fox have both unleashed their Fall 2011-2012 TV schedule, now ABC has released theirs. I’m excited to see Castle, Modern Family, and The Middle back in the mix. Most of the new shows they have line-up don’t really interest me, but there are a few that have caught my eye. PanAm is another 1960’s based TV show that will go against AMC’s Mad Men and NBC’s The Playboy Club. There’s a show called Revenge that sounds really interesting, but the new series I’m most excited about is is the fantasy series Once Upon A Time, a show where fairy tales collide with the modern day.
Here is ABC’s full schedule along with a description of all of their shows. Go through them below and let us know what TV series you’re most excited about seeing.

The cast of the "Spider-Man" reboot continues to grow, as another father figure is joining the scene — but with the patriarch of the Parker family already covered in the form of Martin Sheen's casting as Uncle Ben, it's Emma Stone who's about to get a new daddy.
"Rescue Me" star Denis Leary is currently in negotiations to star in "Spider-Man" as police captain George Stacy, according to Heat Vision. The character is the father of Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker's first love interest played by the "Easy A" and "Zombieland" actress.
In the comics, George Stacy plays something of a father figure role to Peter Parker, welcoming the young man into the Stacy household thanks to his relationship with George's daughter. George is not just a strong supporter of Peter Parker, but an outspoken advocate of Spider-Man's.
Eventually, the police captain was killed in a 1970 issue of "The Amazing Spider-Man...

HollywoodNews.com: Timothy Hutton is an Academy Award winning film actor. Now he leads a team on the ensemble action show Leverage. When the show comes back this June on TNT, it will pick up after Nate Ford (Hutton)’s arrest, after he shared a kiss but got spurned by Sophie (Gina Bellman). Hutton spoke with the media in a conference call and previewed season three’s new guest stars (including George Clooney’s gal Elisabetta Canalis) and adventures, as the Leverage team continues to pull scams and heists to protect their clients.
Q: What guest stars are going to be on the show this season?
Timothy Hutton: Well, this year, just like last year, we’ve got some really great guest stars. We’ve got Michael O’Keefe, Giancarlo Esposito, John Schneider, Arye Gross, Richard Chamberlain, Clancy Brown, some great people that join us this year.

When movie lovers think of a lone hero trapped in a high-rise controlled by bad guys, the classic Bruce Willis actioner Die Hard comes to mind. Released in 1988, the film made Willis more than just that guy from Moonlighting and started a new genre, the contained space action movie. Soon other films were copying Die Hard's spatial premise with thrillers of their own that became “Die Hard on a _____”. Die Hard wasn't the first film to have this premise – The Big Clock (1948) later remade as No Way Out (1987) comes to mind – just the first to do it really well. About a year prior, Charlie Band, who would strike gold with the Dtv Puppet Master horror films, produced a small action movie set in New York about an insurance salesman who finds himself in a Die Hard situation with a local gang. Garry Frank plays Barry, an insurance salesman who's...
