Phenomenal from start to finish

Warning: Spoilers
It's pretty hard to follow up the best episode of your show's entire run so far, yet Legacies just did so in an amazing way. Dark Josie was so incredible, Kaylee Bryant did a fantastic job! Hope having to choose between saving the Saltzman's & saving Landon had me at the edge of my seat. Landon discovering more of his Phoenix powers is so great & the scene of him flying surprisingly looked good & wasn't cringe looking at all. Sebastian redeeming himself by being the anchor for the prison world was a little predictable, but I still really liked it. Of course in TVDu, you can't ever be so sure someone is dead. We didn't actually see Sebastian die, so maybe he'll pop back up a season from now having escaped. Speaking of dying.. everyone's favorite sarcastic, witty villain Kai Parker, had a disturbing end to his story tonight (or so it seems). I think the fact that Alaric is the one who killed him is poetic, but the way he died is, as Kai Parker himself said, "a bit anticlimactic." I'm really hoping this is a TVD-like situation where Kai faked his death. Maybe the whole beheading thing is a hint towards that, as it's the same way he "died" in TVD 6x22. All in all, this is another REMARKABLE episode of Legacies, definitely in the top 2 with 2x12, but I'm not sure which one I'd rank above the other.

Fingers crossed Kai Parker isn't actually dead.

2nd best episode of Legacies, ever
Splarke2214 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
2x12 was easily the best episode of Legacies & 2x13 is hands down the second best! Everything about the episode was incredible, minus the ending. The prophecy coming to fruition was intense all the way through. Dark Josie is so badass and Kai Parker is as charming and sarcastic as ever. Landon being the new hero that rises & the scene of him flying with his Phoenix wings down to Hope & Josie while carrying Dorian were amazing. Hope & Landon's scene at the end of them talking in bed was so great, they have such a deep understanding of each other & their relationship is so great. I really haven't been liking what they're doing with Lizzie's character this season, so I hope that Sebastian really is gone so we can get our girl back! That being said, Sebastian redeeming himself was surprisingly sad. The way they didn't actually show him die makes me think they intentionally gave him a possible open ending so that he could pop up a season or two from now having escaped through the Malivore pit. As for Kai Parker's death, I can't help but be massively disappointed. His death felt, in the words of Kai himself, "a little anticlimactic." You mean to tell me after him being such a strong, amazing villain for multiple seasons on TVD, his death on Legacies is almost an exact copy paste of his TVD 6x22 "death" but this time he's tied up and defenseless. Maybe them mirroring his 6x22 fake out death is a hint at him not actually being dead this time either, but it's very doubtful. All in all, really phenomenal episode that's just a hair behind 2x12 for being the all time best Legacies episode so far!

great episode

Warning: Spoilers
Solid episode, i really enjoyed it. I love that we finally have dark Josie and i have been waiting for her since the beginning of season 1. I loved that the writers didn't ruin Kais character and still had him being this evil/sarcastic guy. I would have wished that his death was a bit more special then being beheaded again, but Kai had it coming his way and tbh i think it was only right that Alaric was the one that killed him. I don't really think he is ''dead dead'' if the necromancer wants to bring him back for some reason he can do that, also Chris Wood said in an interview that he is willing to play Kai in legacies as long as it's physically possible. I LOVED Landons fire wings they looked really epic, and i hope that Rafael is okay. I've seen some theories that Raf might have died and the necromancer brought him back since he has missing memories (the same situation happened in 1x06 when Jo also had missing memories and couldn't remember things). I'm sad that Sebastian ''died?'' well it's not really confirmed but for now i looks like he is gone. I really liked his character and i loved that he wasn't a black or white kind of character and more of a grey one, it made him more interesting in my opinion. I'm excited to see what dark Josie has in store, Kaylee said on twitter that Josie's nr 1 motive is gonna be herself for once, so yeah i'm really excited to see what's gonna happen next.

10/10, also the promo for the next episode looks like it's gonna be a fun episode, so sad that we have to wait 4 weeks for it to come out :(.

remember buffy the vampire slayer

Very similar if not the same Josie's Dark Willow's style... (buffy the vampire slayer)... and the scene where the're in the hospital alaric, josie and lizzie is the same as buffy's episode villains (season 6) when willow saved buffy's life by taking out the bullet with magic.

Almost there but then nope
trinity-doyle21 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
TVD et al's biggest strength is playing with characters who have some seriously dark natures and watching them fight and give in etc...Sebastian was looking like another opportunity for this but then nope he's gone now and we're back to the mickey mouse club supernaturals. That said having Kai in the last couple of eps has seriously upped the shows watchability. Kai is the best villain in this franchise. Let's hope they can reattach his head and make this series interesting.
