After a rise trough more prestigious TV stations all the way to L.A., a scandal forces news anchor Chuck Darling to return to his natal Pittsburgh. There he has pseudo-divine star status, but is hated by his also original co-anchor Kelly Carr, who fells passed-over. For would be-star reporter Gary Crezyzewski, it's another source of cruel abuse, although unintentional. The plot thickens when Kelly's daughter's paternity is questioned.
