As stated in Ride With Norman Reedus: Northern Italy With Josh Holloway (2023), Josh Holloway favorite hobby is fly-fishing which was incorporated into the show. Also, it was the only thing he did while he quarantined for nine days before his call-time to his first appearance on the series.
In the end of scene with Josh Holloway, there was a "thud sound" similar to the one in Lost (2004) which he also starred in.
