Chance the Rapper is getting into the acting game with his role in the upcoming horror comedy Slice, and the first real teaser trailer is here just in time for Halloween.
Production company A24, which has been behind some of the most mind-bending horror and experimental films in recent years, dropped a primarily animated trailer, and it looks amazing even in its simplicity,
While the trailer doesn't give us a lot to go on in terms of plot, it does give us a passing glimpse at Chance and some of his co-stars -- who include Atlanta and Deadpool 2 star Zazie Beetz, The League's Paul Scheer, and Stranger Things actor Joe Keery.

In 2016, Chance the Rapper secretly filmed a slasher film about an outlaw framed for the murders of several pizza boys, appropriately titled Slice. Last Halloween, the Mc teased the project on Twitter, and now, one year later, a second clip has arrived promising the film will be released in 2018.

"Ready to get sliced?" Wha?! This teaser trailer is awesome! A24 has quietly revealed a new teaser trailer for the horror Slice, an indie comedy about a killer taking out pizza deliver guys. This teaser is based on the popular internet game "Line Rider" (play it here) and features a pizza delivery dude on a motorbike riding down through lines and pizza slice triangles. Eventually some footage appears in the pizza slices, but not much. A24 was going to release the film this year, but pushed it back until sometime in 2018. Slice stars mixtape master Chance The Rapper (aka Chance Bennett) and was filmed "quietly" in Chicago. The rest of the cast includes Zazie Beetz & Paul Scheer. I'm still excited to see this. Seems like it might be a goofy, fun comedy about pizza delivery drivers trying to stay alive in the midst of these killings. Enjoy this teaser. Here's...

Exactly one year ago, A24 announced a secret collaboration with Chance the Rapper. All the studio disclosed was the film, titled “Slice,” was shot in secret in Chicago over summer 2016 and that the story would center around an enigmatic outlaw framed for a killing spree that targets unsuspecting pizza delivery boys.
