Good season finale, and a non-error
jwkenne14 July 2020
Both the 9-1-1 shows tend to be unpredictable structured, with no such thing as a "typical" episode. This one continued the tradition, with some oddball emergencies, and a resolution for the Iris arc.

By the way, in the 1859 CME event, the aurora borealis was visible in Mexico, Cuba, and Hawai'i, so the guy snarking on that point is just plain wrong.

A little out there but more plausible than most would think

Warning: Spoilers
In this episode of Lone Star the team have to deal with the worst Solar Storm the earth has ever seen and although on the surface this episode appears to be complete fiction, this isn't unheard of in the history books. Back in 1859 when electricity was still a beast to be tamed there was a sizeable solar storm that reached the earth in what is now referred to as "The Carrington Event" named after the man who discovered the cause of what was happening. Essentially this solar storm sent a small town and it's early telecommunication devices into complete disarray and when all was said and done, a side effect of the storm was the appearance of the northern lights in a not so northern town. Don't get me wrong there are still plenty of wacky moments where suspending your belief would probably increase your enjoyment but it's wild to imagine that some of this episode's craziest moments are based in some fact. Aside from my little history lesson? A strong episode for all the main characters. A strong 8.

This was a really amazing season finale. Beautiful, emotional and forking intense.

For that "thing" who didn't pay attention. There was a solor storm which caused northern lights to appear so there's you're answer. Pluse comon it's a forking tv series not documentary. If you have problems with this series don't watch it!!!

Yes, I am a schmaltzy 74 year old male! This episode was perfect in so many ways. I judge acting by believability .... the entire cast was fully believable! Raw emotions that conveyed to viewers. Awesome special effects. Great writing and story lines!

One personal comment: I love the view of mankind portrayed in both 9 1 1 series. All flavors of people working, loving and living together without mindless bigotry. I truly wish the makers of 9 1 1 could wrap the planet in their script concept, but I fear that it wouldn't help because humanity is too flawed!

Beautiful ending, my heart hurt this whole episode. These writers are great at what they do. I can't wait for the next season...this and the other show are the best show.

Tearjerker Finale!

Warning: Spoilers
They save the best episode for last. So many powerful story lines. Michelle's sister; spacestation, woman bus driver etc. As always, Owen & TK is the moral compass, and in this episode, it's really pivotal. I kept rewatching parts so i could delete it to save space. But I cant bring myself to delete it. .

"Epic" Finale involving... Space!
wetmars3 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Owen helps T.K. reconcile the past to help his future; Michelle learns the full truth about Iris.

I must say, the astronaut story-line hit me the most, deaths in space missions are horrific and so tragic, as I am a Space Enthusiast myself, I can say that the space stuff are pretty accurate, Soyuz-1, Soyuz-11, Challenger, Columbia were such tragedies. The sun indeed transmit radiation by it's coronal mass ejection to reach throughout the inner Solar System to Earth, poor guy.

I can't wait to see how Season 2 will be...

How dumb do you think we are?

Sorry, but the Aurora Borealis would not and could not possibly be visible from Texas. It is a strictly Northernmost and Southernmost phenomenon. Which mean is the northern US, Canada, and Alaska, and Australia, not in the Southern US.

Joke of a finale for joke of a show

People trolling with their 10 out of 10s right? I mean, calling someone a thing for saying this twee, saccharine twaddle is what it is makes them call someone a thing :,D

This show is unbelievably bad and has been consistently so but this finale is an out of the world pain
