Fashion week has started, so the assistants are flat-out. Andrew can only afford to finish two dresses to present to a designer he's fan of, so he gets an evasive, yet rather encouraging response. Bridget suddenly announces she's moving out of his apartment to save on rent. The girls eagerly accept to dine with Janjay's friend Bobby and a model mate of his, but when only that hunk Angel turns up and tells Bobby is late and actually dates cheerfully, Janjay rudely walks out, even when he arrives last-second and dumps him.

The New York Fashion Week ends as quickly as it started hectically. The six assistants try to boosts each-other's confidence before their assessments, which determine who gets a long-term job. Some however opt out openly or implicitly by their unenthusiastic attitude. Andrew isn't offered a magazine post, supposedly because he tends to struggle with deadlines, but already believed his actual future is in design anyhow.
