Camp Runamuck is celebrating the opening of their new swimming pool. Mahala May soon arrives and introduces her new counselor Nadine Smith. Wivenhoe bans all women from the pool, reserving it for Camp Runamuck only. As they begin filling the pool the sheriff turns off the water due to a county water shortage. He threatens to jail them if they try to fill it up. The men try to do it naturally by sending up a hot air balloon carrying dry ice to make it rain, but Mahala May's message arrow pierces it. They continue trying different methods to get water (divining rod, building a fire and calling the fire department, rain dance). When Wivenhoe learns the women have their own reservoir, he gets desperate and plots a mission to retrieve their water.
