In the scene where Chuck's dad dies outside, Ned is seen backing up to the table while his mother is taking a pie out of the oven. When she takes the pie out of the oven, she has oven mitts on, but in the next shot the oven mitts are gone and she is still holding the supposedly hot pie with her bare hands.
When Chuck gets back to her coffin, she lies in a different position from before. The pillow also changes sides.
After Chuck's Aunt Lily shoots the intruder, her view of Chuck is obstructed by a wall blocking her "good eye." The wall actually would have blocked her right eye, which is the one covered with the patch, allowing her good left eye to see Chuck.
The killer is repeatedly said to have "strangled" his victims, but he actually suffocates them with plastic bags.
When Ned walks upstairs to check on the lady before the bad guy gets killed, behind him is a circular window. A reflecting light can be seen in the window along with what looks to be a boom microphone.
The town's sign is misspelled: "Couer d'Couers." The mistake is partly rectified by the third episode, when a gift tag is addressed to "Coeur d'Coeurs."
When Ned first revives Chuck, he twice refers to the fact that he lived next door to her, but in the previous scenes showing them as children, his house was across the street from hers.
