Also, the neighbor across the street looked very suspicious in the first episode
mehobulls2 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Remember when Adam was being followed by the black SUV when he killed Rocko? And then when he returned to the crime scene at night to photograph it? Who the hell was in the SUV?! We meet the guy in the green Camry at some point but there has to be someone else that knows. Why haven't they revisited that? The blackmail green Camry was using was footage from the gas station but whoever was in the black SUV would have had footage of the actual accident. Right?

Very good Courtroom Drama
RussHog1 February 2021
I don't understand how anyone can give this show a bad review. Cranston is fantastic in this show and the script is far out but it isn't bad. This episode really brings the conflict to a head and we see how there is no law and order in this world - just human beings doing what they have to do to protect their families. I grew up with a lawyer dad and I can tell you that how Cranston conducts himself as a judge who has fallen into corruption is just - mesmerizing. I've seen how judges can rig trials - and this really nails it. Great TV.

Unrealistic trial, but storyline still scores
forhall1 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
In the interest of storyline and plot development, the courtroom scenes are unrealistic. I get it, but trials aren't done this way, and viewers shouldn't consider this remotely correct as to how it's done. Still, however, granting literary license to move the story along and keep the tension building throughout, this episode scores. All the actors are excellent, and the plot line and script is superb.

Bryan in his best since breaking bad
manoskotsias3 February 2021
It's been a long time ago since I watched breaking bad and the reason I start to watch this series was because Bryan is an actor I admire. Even though it's a remake of an Israel series (which I haven't seen it) I'm enjoying every episode of this drama. Bryan is in his best since B.B and I'm looking forward to see the next episodes and of course the season 2. Watch that is a great one and you will not disappointed.

Adam, I'd prefer Eve!
kelboy103 February 2023
I can somewhat allow for the unrealistic trial with certain parts not being believable, where it comes unstuck for me is the son Adam. Adam for me has been the weakest character in the series so far often resorting to things that make no sense. His triangle relationship causes him bother and although he has developed a close bond with Fia Baxter nothing should be cleared to him than not continuing with it or getting in too deep. Okay love is blind or just plain stupid! For one he already knows of Jimmy Baxter the crime lord yet still wants to dingle dangle around with the daughter amongst also being the man who killed her brother by accident! This is a recipe for disaster, Michael will be thinking I got you out of one mess then you pile on top another. Seriously how can you protect this kid? What is more is the fact he was already seeing his teacher in a intimate way as shown in the first episode. She is about to quit her job for him as well as being equally attractive if not more attractive than Fia Baxter in my opinion. Also she is intelligent she is a teacher, wake up and smell the coffee Adam! This love triangle allows me and I hope the rest of the audience to have less sympathy for Adam being he is seeing two women at once and this is from a male perspective!

Okay so the trial is slightly ridiculous but the rules have to be bent in order for Judge Michael to attempt getting Carlo Baxter off. In our heads the audience should already be thinking how the hell is he gonna get out of this? Whether it's plausible what Michael is doing or not doesn't faze me as I am here to be entertained! Seriously are you not entertained? Maybe I'm being a hypocrite here as equally what Adam does throughout is not logical or plausible yet somehow I struggle more to let that slide.

Absurd stuff
greg-golightly9 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Please, all of you reviewing this as a great legal drama episode, I beg you to never end up on a jury. The amount of absurdity is laughable.

A juror knows there is no self defense protection in a jail cell, but the prosecutors office does not?

A judge saying pictures of the victim are too much for jury? A judge asking questions of someone on the stand like an attorney? Pointing out a tattoo?

Characters are starting really to annoy. The once set pace slows drastically and also the script gets silly and unbelievable.

Unrealistic! Flawed and failed!
jeff-holtorf1 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The liberties taken for artistic purposes with relation to the law and the justice system are a joke. What is more of a joke with this series is the set of circumstances and situations that are shown and highlighted and then completely dismissed or not addressed after they have been presented to us, the audience. I will give no spoilers, but if you have been paying attention, you know what they are!

The series is failed and flawed from the word go! Anyone who gives this series more than 5 stars is not paying attention!

Boring...it just keeps going on and on
hpcmakeup1 February 2021
Nothing happens!! This could have been a Lifetime Movie finished in 2 hrs not 10. Everyone is annoying and unlikeable especially the awful son and the Female attorney with horrible hair from Liar Liar . No way this show should be rated above a 5..
