That was the first time we see that Barry Allen choose the bad side which was so insane !!!!!! There were some graphical problems!! So 9/10 is good for this episode!

Solidifies Bloodwork as a villain. Before today's episode I was not very sure, how good he would be. But after this episode the dynamic is changed. Grant Gustin & Michelle Harisson's performance great. Storytelling was great. That's what a show is meant to be....

What a spectacular episode. The best episode of Season 6 so far. Grant's acting was top notch. It was fantastic. And that ending - that was amazing. One of the best endings the show has had in a while. This is one of my favorite tv episodes of the year.

This episode was absolutely crazy! It was a thrill ride from start to finish. Seriously this might be one of the best flash episodes ever and it's only part 1!!! It was really creative and in its story telling and had really shocking reveals! This episode proves how far a good story can go!

FINALLY, THE FLASH IS BACK! What an absolutely incredible episode. The last time we've had an episode of this level must've been Season 1. This is easily one of The Flash's best episodes of all time. I've been skeptical with this season, I thought it's been okay so far, but this episode definitely has gotten me fully onboard. Barry Allen's internal conflict, and giving into the darkness reminded me a lot of one of Arrow's best episodes "Kapiushon." I was disappointed the direction they took with Ramsey making him another psychotic villain, but this is as well as I could've hoped they would handle this character. Apart from the main section of this episode, I think the other parts were pretty decent. There wasn't too much happening, mostly just teases for the future, but that final scene with Iris coming to terms with Barry's death was very good. All the performances were fantastic this episode. I can't praise the actors enough. Especially the star or the show and episode Grant Gustin that gives the strongest performance of his career during this episode. This episode gave me chills! From Barry's temptation, Iris' acceptance, to Killer Frosts panic attack, and Ramsey's villainy. Wow this just has some of the strongest performances on this show all together. Now onto the main attraction of this episode, Barry's temptation. I mean I can only just say "WOW." It was handled so perfectly. Ramsey showing Barry how much better the world would be if he gave in, and exposing the Speed Force's distance to humanity. I mean it makes perfect sense Barry would give in. Grant Gustin's performance just perfect captured this insane internal conflict, his performance gave me chills. Then once Barry is "cured" the scene without any music where everyone realizes he's off, and not our Barry. There are many times I look at these episodes, and there's things I would change that would make the episode much better in my opinion, but everything was just so perfectly done this episode. I am so happy to say that this the best episode of the flash in 3 maybe even 4 years. I cannot wait for the second part of this episode. If the next episode is even close to the level of this episode, we're in for another amazing episode. I hope The Flash continues to deliver with great episodes the rest of this season because maybe it would've made it worth it to sit through the last 3 seasons. Thank you for this brilliant episode.

This was the best episode of season 6 so far... Ramsey Russo went all Adrian Chase on Barry. Grant Gustin's acting was amazing... Seeing the flash embracing the evil side of himself was both concerning and amazing to watch...the last episode of the flash was a bit offtrack and was not good at all but this one is like a redemption episode for the season....cant wait to see what is gonna happen next.

I agree that it was the best episode this season (considering the poor quality of the previous ones) but nowhere near 8/10 if we consider all episodes of The Flash that have aired so far. The story was nothing special, the Indian guy is not a good actor, there were plot holes and, of course, it was just another filler before the Crisis so they even decided to split it into two. Also, I'm not quite sure why the male actors are constantly crying (Barry, Oliver) and strong women have to make decisions for them and save them. Actually, I know - The CW. They should also stop making their staff rate their episodes here. 10/10 - in your dreams maybe! It is not going to work!

Why: Usually there are at least 3 side plots with the full cast, and i thought the episode is gonna be slow..when i saw barry starts hallucinating, i thought that early? But NO they perfectly drag it for a full episode, but ofc team citizen side plot is ACTUALLY NECESSARY : allegra confronts iris : iris and a newspaper

Pros : literally everything -broken barry -manipulative ramsey -thawne -EDDIE THAWNE -'tug of war' -sick black lightning -tease of full form of bloodwork -NEGATIVE FLASH -Grant and Sendhil's performances

Mentions : baby nora..they actually brought a baby actress other than zoom shot of barry's face talking to baby nora

Thoughts and Conclusion : People actually said that bloodwork is just a side villain and CRISIS is a major villain for barry, and yet bloodwork admitted it ..lol . Bloodwork is definetely a A-tier arrowverse villain for me.. . Overall we finally have a consistent writing from a very long time, s4, s5 gives 1 big episodes then flops in another. But this. This episode should be one of the best episodes that peak its plot point.

The Flash vs. Bloodwork

"The Last Temptation of Barry Allen: Part 1" was easily the best episode of the season so far. It had amazing performances from Grant Gustin and Michelle Harrison who portrayed the Speed Force. The speed force served as a voice of reason to stop Barry from joining Ramsey Rosso and becoming an unstoppable monster. I wonder how Team Flash will defeat Bloodwork.

Right off the bat, the episode took off right after episode 6 where Ralph got attacked by Bloodwork. The fight sequence between Ralph and Bloodwork was incredible and made Bloodwork a more compelling villain. I was quite skeptical of Bloodwork before this episode, but now he is shaping up to be a worthy opponent for Team Flash. Bloodwork may become my favorite non-speedster villain of the show.

The scene where Barry is imagining Thanksgiving dinner with Team Flash was sweet at first, but then became dark and disgusting when Ramsey Rosso showed up and infects all of the members of Team Flash.

This episode focuses heavily on Barry Allen and the choice that he has been given by Bloodwork. Bloodwork offers him a life after the Crisis where he does not die because of his immortality. Barry Allen tries not to give in to the temptation and to not succumb to the dark side. Unfortunately, as the ending suggests Barry Allen was infected by Bloodwork and turned into the Negative Flash. How will Team Flash save Barry Allen from the clutches of Bloodwork?

My favorite moment of the episode was when Barry turned against the speed force and almost killed his "mother." The way the scene flashbacks to the night where Nora Allen was brutally murdered is perfect. It showcases how Barry is doubting himself and unsure about joining Bloodwork.

The episode featured a new trio, consisting of Kamilla, Allegra and Iris. I do not know why Allegra gets so much screen time this season, but the character is slowly starting to grow on me. Is her evil cousin going to return again and wreck havoc on her life? Perhaps, Allegra's cousin will be playing a role in the back half of season 6.

To conclude, part 1 of the two part mid season finale was amazing and that end reveal was mind blowing. I never suspected that the negative Flash would show up this season. Next week will be an insane mid season finale where Team Flash goes up against their leader.

How THE FU*Kis this episode only rated a 8.7 it deserves at least a 9.2 it was fantastic Grant proved how well he can act and we really got to see his fears how he won't be able to hold his child, how he will leave Iris a widow etc. Grant was FANTASTIC in this episode.

Now I don't normally review episodes of the Arrowverse, but I just had to review this one. Because this episode was bat s*it insane. Ramsay trying to take over Barry's body was something I never though they'd do. But they did. And it was really great. The speed force and Ramsay fighting for control over Barry was so entertaining and it practically broke Barry on the inside. Grant Gustin once again proves he is one of the if not THE best actor in the entire Arrowverse. He just chews up every emotional and decision making scene he's in. Now I will go to say that the Iris subplot with Allegra is fine, but the plot that really held this episode together was the fight inside Barry's body and mind. It was so interesting with an absolute scene stealing Grant Gustin. Also that ending with Negative Flash, like WTF. I can't wait for part 2 and Crisis. And I am going to agree with what everyone is saying, this is the flash's version of Kapiushon, and is a great episode, pretty much one of the best since Season 1. Thank you Eric Wallace. You have fixed this show
