Spartacus: War of the Damned: Christian Antidormi to Play Tiberius
TV Line is reporting that Spartacus: War of the Damned has found its young Tiberius, son of Marcus Crassus hell-bent on impressing his wealthy patriarch, in Australian actor Christian Antidormi. This will be the first international role for the 20-year old actor, known for his roles in As the Bell Rings and Home and Away, and likely one final addition to the last season of Spartacus.
The third season finds the rebel army on the run after dispatching the latest Roman attempt at squashing the flame of freedom that had been spreading throughout the area, with the wealthiest, most powerful men at the time banding together to bring them down. Spartacus has managed to fight off swarms of soldiers, sparking a movement of change and uprising in the process, but can he combat the sheer volume of resources being pumped...

Starz has cast an Australian Disney vet as a new rival to the title character in Spartacus: War of the Damned –but don’t expect any Mickey Mouse stuff when he comes to do battle.
Christian Antidormi will play Tiberius, who’s prepared to use any means necessary to vanquish Liam McIntyre’s Spartacus, and impress his own father, Marcus Crassus (Simon Merrells), in the process.
Antidormi is best known for his role as the cheeky heartthrob Vince in Disney Channel’s Australia-based comedy series As The Bell Rings, and has also appeared in several drama series Down Under.

David O Russell’s acclaimed boxing drama The Fighter arrives in UK cinemas. Here’s Ryan’s review…
The Fighter is perfect Oscar bait. Conforming to everything the Academy loves in its movies, triumph over adversity, transformative, showy performances, and an uplifting, ‘life affirming' conclusion, it's little surprise that David O Russell's gritty boxing drama has notched up no fewer than seven nominations.
And yet, like last year's The American, The Fighter is filmed and acted with enough brio and conviction to overcome its predictable, formulaic plot, and as the music pounds and the punches fly, it's impossible not to get drawn in to this brash, aggressive drama. It's shot with a grimy, semi-realistic look that's typical of Russell, but the grime is a gossamer thin covering on what is an unashamedly feelgood movie.
Based on a true story, The Fighter stars Mark Wahlberg as Micky 'Irish' Ward, a 30-something...

Avalon High, the next Disney Channel Original Movie, has started production in New Zealand and it stars Britt Robertson and Gregg Sulkin. American viewers know Robertson best for her role as Lux on Life Unexpected (TV), while Sulkin has guest starred as Mason Greybeck on a couple of episodes of Wizards of Waverly Place (TV) and is recognized back home in England for his appearances on Disney Channel UK's version of As the Bell Rings (TV). So what is Avalon High about? Well, we've got the scoop. It's based on the novel by Meg Cabot and it follows the adventures of Allie Pennington (Robertson), the new girl at Avalon High, who quickly comes to believe that her classmates are reincarnations of King Arthur and his court. In other words, Avalon High just may be a contemporary Camelot, with the hunky quarterback Will (Sulkin), his girlfriend Jen (Molly Quinn), their best...
