Charles Band’s company Full Moon has been delivering wild, crazy, entertaining films for almost thirty-five years now – and on the latest episode of his YouTube series Full Moon Universe, Band has revealed that 2024 is going to be another big year for them, as they’re launching a new production label called Pulp Noir with a slate of ten films. The plan being that all ten of those movies are going to be filmed by the end of this year.

Alfred Hedgehog (52x11), a new animated series aimed at K6-9 is currently in pre-production in Paris and Montreal. The series revolves around adventures of Alfred Hedgehog, a hedgehog detective, and aims to encourage scientific exploration, problem solving and teamwork. Muse Entertainment and Gaumont Alphanim are producing the show for Tvo, Tfo, Radio-Canada and Knowledge Network in Canada and France 5 in France. Gaumont Alphanim and Muse Distribution International will distribute the series worldwide. Created by Merilyn Read (The Tom Green Show, Babar and Father Christmas) and Mary Mackay-Smith (Dot, Caillou), Alfred Hedgehog is executive story-edited by Mackay-Smith, Peter Saisselain (Zombie Hotel, Gawayn), and directed by Frederic Dybowski (Galactik Football), and designed by Jan Van Rijsselberge (Robotboy) and Stephane Gallard (La Prophetie des grenouilles).
