A fun Preschool video for kids.
elisebarnett220 February 2007
This is a sweet video with some adorable animated characters and some wonderful music. I was sort of surprised by how elegantly and realistically the characters moved and danced to the music, it almost looks like they're real.

I bought this DVD for my two year old daughter who was in love with Elmo at the time. She still loves Elmo, but now she is also asking for the Bop-a-Lots, which is fine with me because I was getting kind of tired of Elmo myself.

The music is wonderful with song favorites all really interestingly and well done in some very different world music styles. There's even an aboriginal version of Happy and You Know it, with the characters hopping around the Outback like kangaroos. Very inventive and funny stuff. I recommend it to any other moms.

My kids love it and I like it too

It's nice to find a video that a parent can enjoy right along with the toddler. This one fits that bill. It's great that it teaches them to think outside the box. So they get an educational benefit and great entertainment at the same time. We received this as a gift which is great because I haven't seen it in stores. And now I'll be giving it as a gift to some of our play-group. It will be fun to see other little ones get up and dance along with the characters to all the world music styles (just like my kids do). Their favorite character is the big blue one, and he is very funny to watch. The video also has some excellent suggestions for games to play with you child as the soundtrack plays. We're loving those.

A real different musical DVD for kids.

There's not much of a story to the video, just some real cute cartoons dancing around to different songs done in a couple of different styles of music.

That said, I think it's a great video -- mostly because my 2 year old daughter loves it and laughs while she watches it. She tries to dance along to it also.

The music and the characters are sweet and funny. She especially likes the Irish version of Old Mac Donald with the rainbow and the giant clovers. I sort of like the Blues Brothers version of Pop Goes the Weasel the most, but it's surprisingly easy and fun for a dad or mom to watch the whole thing too. Which is a pretty far cry from some of the other videos we bought for her that are just toys moving around with bad music. This one really engages her.

My wife noticed a cool feature the DVD has too that let's us choose how long we want the DVD to play for. I never seen something like that on a DVD before and it's pretty cool. All in all I gotta say that I like the video and my wife an I both feel better sitting Chloe down to watch it than letting her stare away at some of the TV programs out there.

Fantastic DVD for young children!!

As a mother of two young children, I am always looking for new, fun, educational animated dvds. We received the "Bop-a-Lots" DVD as a gift. My children, ages 3 and 1, absolutely love this DVD. The animation is beautiful, the characters are adorable, and the variety of music and dance is both educational and entertaining. My children are being introduced to different styles of music and dance from all cultures. My kids and I dance around the house and enjoy these characters everyday. The U-Time feature is a tremendous help as well. Not to mention the great cd that comes with the DVD. We bop along all day at home and in the car! This is a "must have" for all families to enjoy!!
