Rentaghost diversify once again, this time going into the press, pushed to the limits by Fred, The Mumford's decide it's time they got the help of a psychiatrist.
I have thoroughly enjoyed series two, it's been a good standard overall, this final episode isn't perhaps my favourite, but it's still funny.
Kids (and adults) back in 1976 were treated to a much better level of humour, sure it wasn't high brow, it lacked special effects, subtlety, and was largely slapstick, but it was funny.
The Mumfords make this episode, the mature pair are hilarious here, the scene where they entertain the good Doctor is very, very funny. Some of the hotel scenes perhaps a bit over the top.
I'm so glad Britbox added this to their lineup, I only hope they add further episodes.
John Harvey is really good here as Doctor Springfeldt, I don't recall seeing him in such roles before.
Enjoyed, 7/10.
