Messy money-related comedy Warning: Spoilers
This is a 7-year-old movie made for television which runs for the usual 1.5 hours and starts and ends with a nice Coldplay song, which has nothing to do with the action though. Very random selection. It is written and directed by Lars Becker, a prolific television filmmaker , who has worked on several "Tatort" episodes and, most recently, was very successful with his new series "Nachtschicht". The cast is pretty spectacular for a small-screen production and Heike Makatsch who plays the lead character was a much bigger star back then than she is today. She plays a pizza baker who leaves a betting pool one day before they win many millions. So she recruits a bus driver who has a crush on her in order to scam the winners into giving her a share of the money. This is intended as 100% comedy, but I have to say there was not a single moment where this movie was really cry-out-loud funny, so I'm actually disappointed with the final result. Christian Ulmen (I am a big fan of his "Mein neuer Freund" comedy) was underwhelming too and I felt his character added really nothing sadly. Also, the film is so unrealistic from start to finish and so chaotic that it is really difficult to somewhat appreciate it. The film's title goes back to a quote by Naujoks' character. Actually, he says it even twice I think. Last but not least, a mention of Martin Brambach, one of my absolute favorite actors who still rocks every moment he is on screen, even if he has only two scenes around the 60-minute mark. But the rest of the film is not worth watching. Not recommended.
