Did you know
- GoofsIn the segment where Carly Simon explains who "You're so Vain" is written about, she discusses the possibilities of it being Mick Jaggar. She tells of how she met Mick, and that she also met Paul McCartney. She says that up to that point, Paul had never met Mick (according to Paul). She has to be recalling this story incorrectly. Consider: The Beatles and the Rolling Stones met as early as 1963, watching each other play, as well as appearing on a few shows together. Lennon and McCartney wrote "I Wanna Be Your Man" at the request of the Stones, in 1963, the Stones' first number 1 hit (also recorded by Ringo with the Beatles). Mick sings back up vocals on "All you Need is Love" and is seen on the film of the performance of this song for the "Our World" broadcast in 1967. Mick sat in the dugout at Shea Stadium with other members of the Stones, to watch the Beatles' concert in 1965. No, Paul and Mick had a relationship of some sort for nearly 10 years prior to Carly Simon's story.

Typical Viacom "trivia" show
Like Viacom's related style of show on VH1 "100 best/worst etc. rock scandal/celebrity jealousy of any given time period" this is an empty, contrived half-effort at "entertainment", produced as cheaply as possible while using senseless quick cuts, endless repeat shots and shaky camera work. Also like VH-1, TV Land's Myths and Legends uses so-called "celebrities" for commentary on things they obviously know nothing about.
Mr. Ed was a Zebra, huh? Who thought of that? TV Land should stick to reruns; Their original programming makes the worst episode of The Partridge Family look like The Maltese Falcon.
