With the pilot episode of Preacher currently shooting, we’re assuming this is news that AMC has known for a while, but has only just chosen to announce. Regardless, it’s still nice to report that Tom Brooke is joining the show.
Mr Brooke is an English actor, who made a big impression as Bill ‘Wiggie’ Wiggins (Sherlock’s drug-loving sidekick, with an eye for his own deductions) in 2014 Sherlock episode His Last Vow.
That was hardly his first rodeo, though, he also played Lothar Frey in season 3 of Game Of Thrones. He’s also appeared in pretty much every British crime-based show going, including Ripper Street, Lewis, Foyle’s War, Hustle and Thieves Like Us. He also appeared in cinematic comedies Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason...
