"Das Mörderspiel" is an episode of the tv series "Agathe kann's nicht lassen" that begins with an invitation to a crime dinner and ends with a dead body. Soon, it gets clear that the people gathered share more history than it was clear from the very beginning.
The film is by all means harmless and mixes together many style elements from well-known british and other crime classics. Nonetheless, it at least dares to present a complex plot that has some twists and not just follows a simple path from the beginning to the end. The characters are very stereotypical and the humor is a bit outworn but from the title and the first impression, I expected worse than what I got in the end.
All in all this is an okay film to watch on a boring evening, nothing that will make your heart beat faster but nothing that will bore you to death either.
