Nothing tickles our fancy (or our naughty bits for that matter) quite like slime does. It's just so sticky! Bio-Slime, however, you may want to see a doctor about. Don't believe us? Check out the final teaser trailer for the flick!
Bio-Slime centers upon a group of seven people who are trapped inside a building when a massive sentient and hungry glob of slime begins to eat anything it can get itself onto, all of them having ended up in this building because of in-fighting. Will they be able to work together long enough to fight back against the Bio-Slime? And how do you stop slime anyway?
The film’s final teaser is below, and the Bio-Slime site is live, complete with a much more detailed plot synopsis and a messy, gooey still gallery among other things. Bio Slime is the third feature from director John Lechago after Blood Gnome...

Halo-8 Entertainment has announced that Pop Skull will be its first "day and date" DVD/digital film release, timed with the official launch of Halo-8's VOD website Televandalism (in beta since 2008), which offers VOD-streaming subscriptions (all streaming titles for a total subscription of $.99 per month) or DVD-quality downloads ($9.99 each, with instructions for porting them to your TV) of films, comics, fitness/lifestyle videos, webisodes, and video games.
Pop Skull (review) will make its debut both on DVD and on Televandalism July 28, 2009. "Pop Skull is the kind of groundbreakingly different film that needs to be seen to be believed, so we want it seen by as many people as possible," said Halo-8 president Matt Pizzolo. "We know how our audience wants instant access to the newest coolest media, so we're very excited that Televandalism offers a way for us to get new films, comics, and games to our audience even...

Writer/director John Lechago gave Fango the first look at the latest trailer for his indie creature feature Bioslime, as well as a couple of new exclusive photos; you can feast your eyes on them below the cut. The movie, on which Lechago also served as cinematographer, editor, visual FX supervisor and set designer, is currently in postproduction.
“I am finishing up the visual effects, but there is still a great deal of work to be done,” Lechago tells us. “I’m getting some help from a colleague of mine who’s an excellent effects artist, and I still have a little more insert shooting for background plates. Other than that, the music score is done and the sound editing is well underway. The polish is a meticulous and labor-intesive process, especially for a low-budget production. I want this thing to look as good as it possibly can!”

Halo-8 Falls In A Spiral State - Indie distributor acquires metaphysical drug/horror film - Halo-8 Entertainment has secured worldwide distribution rights to the metaphysical, psychedelic, drug-addled "In A Spiral State", the new psychological horror film directed by award-winning filmmaker Ramzi Abed ("The Devil's Muse"), starring Bianca Barnett ("Albino Farm") and Lizzy Strain ("Magus", "Delta Delta Die"). Halo-8 has slated the film for a limited theatrical run followed by a DVD release in late 2009. "Ramzi Abed's new film is a mindbending meditation on Hollywood self-destruction, angelic interventions, and psychedelic string theory," said Matt Pizzolo, President of Halo-8. "Ramzi has pushed the creative and dramatic envelope even farther than he did in his surrealist "The...
