Dana is a lady who used to produce a game show that she hated. So, she gets a job producing a television puppet show. But as soon as she arrives, she realizes she's made a mistake. Her boss is a jerk and sexual harasser who likes to throw tantrums. But there are hints by the end of the episode he's not THAT bad....who knows.
This was a pilot that the network refused to green light. And, like many mid-late 80s CBS pilots, they later showed it on "CBS Summer Playhouse"...a show consisting of failed pilots. I can see why they didn't approve it. The boss was too hostile and the sexual harassment wasn't funny...even though it was supposed to be a comedy.
If you do decide to watch it (it's currently on YouTube), pay attention to Marcia Gay Harden, who plays a supporting role. You'd hardly recognize it's her as her voice is squeaky and very high pitched...nothing like her usual sultry voice. Odd.
