Daly and Carver are trying to put together a case against a young drug user, who's guilty of assaulting and wounding one of Sun Hill's own.
It's a good episode, with a cracking story, but one sizeable flaw. Let's start with the negative, Billy Lennox is a decent enough character, and Richard Laing plays the part well, but it would have been so much better if it had been one of the main cast, perhaps Gary or Dave, it may even have been a good way for Mike to have left.
It does feel a little underplayed, you would have thought the regulars would have been a little more animated, considering that a fellow officer had been severely attacked.
The best thing I thought about this one, was Jim Carver, he's guilty of being a bit grumpy and staid at times, here he does exactly the right thing, and is a little more compassionate than normal.
Great to see a young Kieran O'Brien, who is brilliant in even this small role, a big talent.
Good episode, 7/10.
