DS Boulton receives a tipoff about a job thats about to happen, the latest in a line of Bank Jobs, the troible is his about is personally involved.
There is a definite trend for feature length episodes, and that format definitely works. The characters are well rounded and well developed, the plot is intricate and well knitted.
They once again make great use of John Boulton, we have recenrly learned the type of copper he is, and the type of man he is.
It lacks any humour, no amusing dialogue, it's just a straight up crime caper, think along the lines of Hustle.
I wish they had developed the main villain a little better, he's just there, looking a little like Robbie Barker. Talking about doubles, The Hotel Manager, i thought it was Matt Hancock at first.
The final appearance from Ray Steele, that's a shame, he was a well developed character, be just seemed to vanish without trace.
A slick episode, 8/10.
