Norika attends a women's refuge where a man has apparently broken in, Dave and Alastair visit a jewellers, where a young woman has tried to sell some stolen jewellery.
This is where you see the show is operating with multiple writers, we have Operation Bumblebee in and out of existence, we have Norika in and out of The DVU, there is a little inconsistency, it's not off putting, but is there.
Credit to the production team though, they were now churning out episodes and the show was performing incredibly well. It's now obvious why so many new characters popped up all at once, to allow the actors to get a day off.
This is a very good episode, there is a degree of malice in it, poor Elaine, a definite victim, but there's more to the story than meets the eye. Good story, with strong characters, and a dramatic ending.
Very good, 8/10.
