Dave attends to a man in an underground walkway who's been shot, fortunately though Carl was wearing a bulletproof vest, DI Johnson is heading up the investigation.
It seems like a turf war story initially, but there is always more than meets the eye. The show is definitely more focused on drugs and guns of late.
It's a very, very good episode, it's always good to see a Johnson led story, Griffiths is terrific. It's so refreshing to see an episode which is a mostly black cast, it makes a really nice change. The show gets a bad rap at times, but it's a bit more progressive than many were at the time.
Peter de Jersey is always so good, I thought Wil Johnson was excellent.
Totally off topic I know, but it's sad to see that Allders store in the beginning, remember those...
8/10.
