Bud and Lou have gone into business as pest exterminators. With their first job Bud discovers that Lou has their vehicle in the shop. Lou hocked the only money they had, $20, for $15. Bud creatively sells the $20 pawn ticket to Mike the Cop's boss, the Sergeant (Robert Foulk) for $15- making $10. Bud and Lou reach their first job- exterminating termites in the office of physiatrist Dr. Otto Fram. A schizophrenic alcoholic patient (Jack Rice) frantically gives his symptoms to Lou, mistaken for the doctor. A woman (Joan Shawlee) comes in to make the same mistake, comically explaining what sounds like weird pregnancy cravings. While in the physiatrist's office, Lou answers a call from wealthy Mrs. Milo Featherton. She is upset of the behavior of her elderly aunts Sophie (Florence Auer) and Sarah (Dorothy Vaughan) who comically play cowboys and Indians. Lou misunderstands the situation and takes Bud to her home on What Street (in a weakened variant of their signature "Who's on First" routine) to exterminate her "ant" problem. Upon arriving Mrs. Featherton explains her "aunts" eat most anything and have been there for 20 years in their own room and bathe themselves. Things go downhill after Lou and Bud set out to kill her "ants".
Like "In Society", two episodes prior, the plot concept borrows heavily from The Three Stooges. In "Termites of 1938", "Ants in the Pantry", and subsequent remakes, the Stooges are exterminators who come to a wealthy woman's home mistaken for another profession.
